This video was originally posted almost a year ago, but I’ve noticed recently that it’s started picking up some steam. I’m not entirely sure if Moises’ pricing model is the same as it was back then, but if you want to try out the free version of the app you can go here: moises.app/andrewclarke Thank you again to Moises for sponsoring this video and supporting independent creators!
So in fact, the link leads us to a real free version with what you showed us or some features are missing and we have to pay to have what is described in your video? Did you use the free version to do the video? Why so much videos on YT where what you see is NOT what you get?!
Does it give seperate main vocals and backing vocals? And lead and rythm guitar? We have a rock band and are thinking of adding some keyboards, backing vocals and maybe various percussion. Can this be done with this app? Thank you.
@ianchinn6586 it is fantastic value wthin the free plan already but I think lead and rhythm can be seperated using premium and drum kit parts can be splt out using the much ore expensive Pro. Logic Audio users will already have stem spltting build in, but whats great here - if it works as well as it looks - is the chord recognition. I would very much like to have DAW style markers though to mark out song sections.
Extremely cool. Back in 1990 I was part of an attempt to use plain old electronic filtering to try to decode songs and of course it could only do so in a rudimentary fashion with a lot of dedicated, expensive hardware. While a lot of people are scared about the dangers of AI, they are confusing generalized AI with specialized AI. This app is an example of specialized AI and you can see these applications of AI are revolutionary. Downloaded and now I know what I'll be doing all weekend!

I've been playing with this app for a couple of weeks. It is pretty dang amazing learn bass tracks of songs. A real game changer to learn those super complicated (bass, guitar, drum) parts of songs.
Well I tried it. I did the free version but you cant seperate the guitar out on the free version and also it cut the song off before the end so I expect there is a limit to how long the song can be. It would have been better if you had explained that rather than getting everyone excited about something that you can't really test properly if you are a guitarist and you want the entire track minus the guitar, which I expect is what most of us want. I wouldn't mind paying if it works but I can't tell how well it would work. Also there is a massive hike between the basic pay version and the pro version. iirc the free version let's you upload/download to separate only 4 or 5 songs a month and only songs with a 5 minute limit...at least that was my experience

Unless you need to process a LOT of songs, Melody ML is actually cheaper since you buy credits and can use them at your leisure. I liked Moises (use it for drumming) but I found that I would process a couple of songs and then go several weeks without needing to do another, was basically leaving money on the table. If Moises came up with a credit system comparable to Melody ML then I'd use it because I do enjoy the app.

If anyone wants to practice the lead or singing to any track why don’t you find it on TH-cam for free and play along or sing along or bass along ? Why do you have to remove the thing you want to play? That’s only the beginning of my concerns for the validity of this app.

They automatically renewed my subscription.....Maybe had to cancel it, but I was not notified prior. Could be my fault and I accept that. There is not enough separation of the instruments. Try playing lead electric guitar in a song without the rhythm guitar playing....or having to sing without any bgs or harmonies. It is a great idea that falls short.....by a long shot. Certainly not professional quality. I wish I would have spent my money on backing tracks at Karaoke Version.
