- A journey from Moscow to Ulaanbaatar and the Gobi Desert along more than 8.000 kms on trains, vans and planes in 4 weeks of travel. We enjoyed amazing scenery and incredible travel mates every single day. The journey was an unforgettable experience that left an everlasting footprint in my memory. Recommended for anyone who is an adventurer in the heart. Footage taken in August 2018.
Congratulations, one of the best - if not the best - videos about a trip from Russia to Mongolia by train. I found it now, 4 years after you posted it, but better late than never. I hope to make a similar trip in the next two years so I am reading and planning, lol. Good luck to you, beautiful family and I will try to watch more of your videos.
I just love how raw the nature is in Mongolia. Sheep and cows just roaming around. Riding horse, camel, in the wilderness.

Hi brother !! This is amazing, spectacular !! And I'm not talking about the trip, I'm talking about the video !! It's much more professional than many others from video production companies. The music, the slow motion portions, the narration, etc, everything is perfectly combined !! And now, talking about the trip, it's absolutely an ADVENTURE is capital letters !! There are three things that I love: crossing Russia by train in general, the Baikal Lake and the landscapes of the Mongolian steppe (so big area, so raw, so natural, so pure, the colors of the sky). Unbelievable. Congratulations to you and your family. One of the best learnings you can give your children: traveling around the world !! See you !!

I want to travel from Moscow to Mongolia but want to take my dog with me hope this is allowed in the 2nd class cabin. Also, whilst on train how did you manage to explore each cities along the way. I remember many years ago with my family on trans Siberian train you cannot get off the train. Thanks

Why didn’t you talk about the Buryats, the indigenous people of the Buryat Republic and the entire Baikal region? Why did you show only an Orthodox monastery and did not show Buddhist monasteries in Buryatia? There are 3 republics in Russia, professing mainly Buddhism. We are one and 4 official state religions in Russia.
Fantastic Video very helpful. How were you able to go about travelling in Mongolia, is there tour guides in Mongolia who took you around or did you go about your own way? Can you pay for everything you do when you arrive to the destination?
You're able to leave the train at each stop? How long before you must get back onto rhe train?
Yes, you can leave the train at each stop. The stopping time at each station is known in advance. It is enough if you get back to the train just 2-3 minutes before the scheduled departure time.
let's say, if we stay one or two night on each stop, how are we to continue our journey on this train ?

A soundtrack is really annoying and has got nothing to do with the visuals. I always marvel on a lack of taste for music in the travel videos.
