I am so thankful that they were able to preserve the first century sites and to be able to see where Jesus walked and suffered. God bless you for this wonderful video. It means so much to me.♥️

This series really helps to put us into those moments that our beloved Savior went through. It makes me wonder who I would have been had I been there during that time. Would I have cried out "Crucify Him"
Thank God I was not there.
    Thank you for this series.

I just absolutely love these episodes. They are anointed and do not come across as stiff or scripted. I stumbled upon them by accident, and don’t understand why they are not more available to the general public. I would like to see them get more publicity bc I’ve been watching & searching up documentaries like these for years. So, please be sure to advertise them. They are such a blessing. Be certain that I will be sharing them. Thank you so very much.

Thank you for this wonderful series. Seeing the places does give a whole new perspective to Jesus’ life. It seems this video glosses over Jesus’ suffering in the garden and wondered why.

Rebecca Vest We’re so glad that you’ve enjoyed the series! Seeing the real places that these events took place is indeed faith building. Even with 10 episodes, we knew that to try and do justice to the entire life, death, and resurrection of Jesus within a time frame would be a challenge and there were many things that we had to summarize or condense. We chose to emphasis how the location itself and its relation to the city gate played into His suffering and prayer in the garden and highlight that although He prayed in agony and could see His captors coming, He chose to stay and allow Himself to be arrested.

Herod Antipas stayed at the Hasmonean Palace between the upper and lower city of Jerusalem. He didn't stay at his Father's palace, only the Roman Procurators/Prefects stayed there during their visits from Caesarea Maritima, for the big three festivals. Passover, Pentecost, festival of Tabernacles/Yom Kippur. There is a distinct possibility that Pilate DID stay at the Fortress of Antonia because he would have to give Caiaphas the vestments of the High Priest which were kept in a locker in the basement of the Fortress of Antonia.

Places never before ever seeing. This video is so revealing. So different then than it is now but the area is where these things happened to our Savior. Thank you for showing them to us, I may never to Isreal to actually see these things, your work is so wonderful for people like me. I appreciate it so much!

I believe the reason Judas hung himself was because though he walked with Jesus for 3 years, he really didn't know Jesus. Peter and the other disciples knew Jesus and had that relationship with Jesus and were able to return knowing He was merciful, forgiving and one who extended grace to all who repented.

Even if The Lord didn't see Judas and the soldiers coming,,,, He already knew this night was His time,,,These are good videos of the approximate places where the events happened.

You're absolutely right! He knew even as He traveled to Jerusalem for the last night and yet...He still came...He still allowed Himself to be arrested, and tried, and killed for us. A beautiful depiction of love!

I would love to see someone use CGI and remove all the layers built up on top of the old City from Jesus time. That would be awesome... Much of what we see today would not have been what he saw. And for me that's sad. I want to see what he seen, felt, and lived. Not some old doctrinal church built over what they think was what. But the true city as it was.
