This is Trance. anyone crying about it likes the new mainstream "trance" which is actually cheap utter crap. this has a unique twist which is rare in todays music. mixing multiple trance genres shows talent. unlike the mainstream poppy crap
Opinion: Saying this is generic is unfair, saying its commercial and accessible is fair. Simon has developed this particular style of Trance slowly over a period of time, the constrast between his distinct tech-trance style borrowing heavily from psy trance influences juxtaposed against the uplifting melodies that wouldn't be unsurprising in a FSOE release, it has an abstract character that nods the influence of Neelix on his development. I find his style of commercial banger trance to be more tasteful than like extremely poppy big room that is repetitive and simplistic in structure that seems to be the rage.
