What a strange first episode. How can one former prisoner just released accomplish all this? Where are the law enforcers, investigators, social workers?? I don't quite like this type of series, but I am curious ... about the writers of this drama story. Has Hong Kong gotten out of control post Y2K? Kevin Cheng is a good actor. Roger Kwok Chun On is also good but his acting is best cast as the evil doer. I am surprised of the transformation in Kevin Cheng's roles. He all along was always cast the protagonist, then later in his career the change to being cast a character as such in this episode. Impressed. I don't understand how the dog was murdered while the family was asleep, and then the bloody body placed next to Roger Kwok in bed. And no one noticed? So Kevin Cheng's character must be a trained or very professional criminal with elite capabilities. Terrible to be violent toward the innocent dog!
