Sorry for your loss. I lost my 90 year old grandma as well. She was a great, great grandma to my grandkids 👵🏼 we were sooo lucky to have her in our lives❤

I love lavender syrup as well so I found a recipe that is a basic simple syrup and you add one tablespoon of dried or fresh lavender to the water and sugar then keep it on low for 10 minutes after it comes to a low boil. It’s sooo good!

Condolences on the loss of your Grandma. Her legacy clearly lives on in you. Think you are really helping us all to learn what it is we really like, be it clothes or interiors, and realising honing in actually gives us more options. I can move any piece around my home as the space now has a cohesive feel. Also means I get to shop my home when I want to change things up.

I love Jacks sense of humour, he reminds me of my hubby, I’m always telling him to get his mind out of the gutter Lol 😂, especially when I’m showing him my new makeup and the names they call some of the products, I loved that floral pretty dress on you, something different from your normal plain block coloured clothes, it’s really pretty on you, You always find great decor pieces, our Target here in Australia have some beautiful neutral toned decor at the moment in store, some very similar to what you can get off Amazon, which I’ve never shopped before but love watching those videos, our H&M don’t sell the same pieces as yours over there. Instead of a bun, you can pineapple your hair on the top of your head. It keeps the curls & doesn’t pull your hair.
The best no heat curls I get compliments from is the heatless curls headband. But I can’t sleep with it. In the a.m. when getting ready, I just put some mousse in the ends of my hair & wear the headband for 10-15 minutes & that’s it. Doesn’t even need hair spray

Valentina, my condolence for you and your dear Grandmother. I was very close to my Grandparents, so I understand well what importance they hold in our lives. I love all things 1940s because of them! The music, the classy fashion, their generation's sense of perseverance from the WWII years, etc... I feel bad for those who didn't know their Grandparents. I also had relationships with their siblings and friends - and I learned so much from all of them. ❤
And Jack - sherpa is faux wool, as you read. It's nice for a decor piece here and there, but not for clothing or blankets FYI. It doesn't launder well and ends up looking really bad. 😮 Honestly, I will not cry when it goes out of style 😂

Oh I’ve lost all of my grandparents now too and I miss them dearly - sending you big hugs, friend and prayers for peace.
The way you made this coffee is how I make it every day! There are better, more heavy duty frothers than the one you got - I wish I could put the link for you, but there’s a silver steel one that is amAZing. And I use a creamer, and now you can buy a cold foam, like Reddi-Whip! I love lavender, but I also, being Italian, love pistachio, and use pistachio creamer 😍
Also, have you ever been to a lavender FARM???!!! You need to go! June/July when it’s in season, and many of them sell hundreds of different varieties, and you can do workshops and learn which ones are edible and which are for show and most fragrant etc. We’re from Florida, but there are amazing farms here in NC and I’m sure also in Georgia too.
One more thing - ever thought of doing a workshop or meet up? That’d be fun too! 🤗
What is the name of the frother that you use? I've never been to a lavender farm, that sounds awesome! I need to look it up and see if there's one near us in North Georgia.
@@houseofvalentinaliving I was just looking at it - it’s called “Frothy” and it has a hi - lo setting too. You want to use lo in a shallow cup, like a regular coffee cup - I make a taller cold coffee, like you and Jack did, and I can use the hi for that, but still beware 😆! I looked up North Georgia, and there’s a wonderful farm called Red Oak Lavender. They do the you-pick, but also have other flowers you can pick too, and lavender honey! Yum! Seems like they have more events maybe even now :)
Oh i wish here in the North (your neighbor country) we had more months of short sleeves...

I agree…H&M has gorgeous duvet covers. Unfortunately, though, theirs don’t have ties to secure them to the duvet insert. How do you keep your insert from shifting inside the cover?
That's a great question. I just fix them a bit every day. To be honest, I forget to use the ties a lot of the time in my other covers! 🤣
