The content of your channel, even the production quality... this seems like a 200k views kind of video. Super great job. Can't wait until you get tons of subscribers. You derserve it.
That was my question is it ok to just run through it if we kinda know it. I am more a PR and comms guy and was thinking I would do this since I was recently laid off. I am pretty confident I can blow through this is 1 maybe 2 mos max since I've literally ran and managed social media and managed content creation and strategy. Is the certificate itself worth having on LinkedIn?
I did the same thing for a different coursera course. All courses have 7 day trial, and you have 6 courses in this certificate. That means that you have more than a month for all courses. Maybe it helps someone.
Hello! I have a associates in business management but I took a few courses on social media / online presence (as well as a project management certificate), I went through what these courses offered and was familiar with a few things - however I don't have a portfolio specifically on my skills as a Social Media Specialist/Manager. Do you think in this case it would be work it to build a portfolio? - Thank you!
Hello I have completed halfway of this course. But don't know what should I do after completing this course. How do I find jobs? As I don't have any hands on experience. Can you please help me in this regards.
Hello. Would this course help with being a Digital and Social Media Coordinator? Making graphics for events and posting them on social media and fundraising and encouraging engagements.
I don't have one specifically. This course is good for freelancers in upping their game. It also gives. you some credibility to the outside world whom you're selling yourself and services to.
I learned to to do social media marketing for few of my instagram businesses that i tried to setup but failed, i am currently trying ot move to dubai and start my career in digital marketing , i am alreay 34 so i want to jump start my carrer, can i get some expert advice on this matter, Thanks.
Yes, you do get job board access. However (no inside knowledge) I don't think Meta prioritizes applications via Coursera certificates significantly higher than others. I just look at it as a very good resource for relevant jobs for a pool of people who are focused in this area.
Thank you! That makes a lot of sense :) quick follow up question, but would you know if this includes ChatGPT + AI tips? This would be perfect if it did!
Hi, I run my own social media agency and am very experinced. I however would be interested in the qualification. Can I skip certain parts of the course and just do the exam?
Thanks for this video. I am starting my own company and writing books - I know that I will need social media numbers and skills to land the book deal I want. I think the video answered my questions - but I will ask anyway. Will this course help independent business owners and entrepreneurs to build and manage their own social media presence? THANKS!!
I actually am having second thoughts about taking out a 21 000 dollar loan for a social media and marketing course that is roughly 1.5 years in length. I ended up on this video, which in turn has me questioning my decision about school even further. I am deeply conflicted. Any advice?
Good question - happy to share some thoughts. 1. That's a pretty big loan - is it for an accredited college that will result in a recognized degree? If not, do you have any indication as to what the results at the end of the course are like or the course having a proven track record of helping its students to get jobs? 2. What's your end goal? Do you need the social media marketing knowledge to achieve that goal? 3. I'd balance the 1.5 years in this course with 1.5 years that it would take to get a lower, more entry level job that you could do well in, and then receive a promotion. Now you've got hands on experience and got paid to learn as you go instead of taking on a loan and now having to find a job after.
I think this gives you a great start to prep for work as a free lancer. You could take this course then start with smaller jobs to build proof that you can do it. Then scale from there. Good luck!
You can finish it in less time. That’s how long I think it will realistically take looking at this as a part-time course outside of your normal job or school.
Hello sir and thank you for the video my question is I have this certificate from Meta and I finished the course but I don't know yet how to get a job and If I can do freelancing with this course and what's kind of jobs I apply create content or make advertising in Facebook for others And another question If I can start SMMA with those information
It all depends what you like to learn about. Both companies will lean their teachings toward their products which have differences in how you use and navigate.
Yes, thanks for the suggestion. I have a few videos talking about the different Meta courses, but I can make a specific one on that. Subscribe and keep an eye out!
😂😂 Did you say the salary is 40,000 with a disappointed face? I get 800$ per month, and I am really happy. I started this course two days ago, and I spend about 15 to 30 minutes a day on it. By the way, I am from Iraq. I will come back to say hello when my income reaches 20000 👍
Haha it's different in every country! With $40,000 with just yourself to take care of, you can make a good life for yourself in most small cities in the US. With other family members or an expensive city, $40,000 is going to be a struggle.

This would be the perfect course for this type of work.

Do we really get access to Meta's job boards (or does this not count for much?)

I don´t quite understand... After the capstone you do have to present the exam o what?
Do you think this would be good for someone who wants to generate leads for life insurance?
Yes, this would be part of a bigger strategy of learning to run ads and grow a social presence to funnel customers to the life insurance brand.
I own a start up brand..is this course useful for buliding my business? or this is more for a individual who wants to become a social media marketer.
More useful for social media marketing (as a career) I'd say.

Hello! Do you think it’s a good option if I want to change career? Thanks for the great video! 😍🙏
Hi, great intro into the course. Is the course updated to recent changes (maybe not so recent) in Meta social media universe?
Its relatively new. I don't know how updated you're looking for but the principles apply to today.
Hello. It's relatively new but it is kinda outdated since it was made like 3 or 4 years ago. Some tools have changed.
I have a question. If I complete only this course and nothing else will I be able work as freelancer. Is this course that practical?

It's all clearly explained in the first part of the course.
I'm not trying to sound like a smartass but doesn't Meta already provide a course like that
what is the total duration of hours for this course
Is the course more about theory or practical ??
The course is pretty practical!
