This is why Bragg went with a Grand Jury instead of a Preliminary Hearing. A Grand Jury is totally run by the prosecution. "A grand jury would 'indict a ham sandwich,' if that's what you wanted.” (Sol Wachtler, chief judge of the State Court of Appeals). When a prosecutor wants to steamroll over someone, they always choose a Grand Jury. People don't realize how shady and self serving the Grand Jury system is.

This has been happening to people in this country for years, the system has allowed some judges to indict people without evidence and forced the people to hire a lawyer to have it thrown out. That is what I was convinced of until I saw first hand exactly how it could work, it has been this way in some cases for years.
