Punch top model is 12 lakh on road and ev is top 16 and that too gets more features than petrol top model, for people who want automatic experience of ev is far far ahead

I am using EV for 3 months, there is no tension of engine oil, noise, gear box, noise pollution in big city we live . very fewer movable parts which keeps car at low maintainice always . Car can be new just by replaciing few cells in battery after 8 years . Electric motors are for life long its runs on electro magnetic fileds so no piston movements no friction hence very less Maintenace cost . Examples are water pumps, train engines you rarely change those in your lifetime.

Its foolishness to invest big Amt for 8 years life span of Batteries. Mind you EV vehicles also needs daily charging hence electricity unit charges & once a year Servicing!. At the same time you will have to pay atleast 50% more on Insurance premium as its expensive by 50% over ICE Car's. Plus you got to consider entire set of Batteries to be changed partly/replaced after 8 years which might cost you atleast ₹5 - 8 lacs. Would say it's a loss making investment in EVs. Except if you are investing in the smallest or least priced EV Cars.
