It's a great question and this comment may age like milk, but I would not trust AI with any actual engineering task. I would trust it to translate code calculation to code, and I would trust it in writing code for handling my data, but I want to be in control of every single engineering decision and calculation being made.

Ai is not perfect, but workable.
