This is where my son, daughter and I, heard a long, projecting scream coming from a ridge ahead of us.. We were on the south side of the Tomo Khani. After hiking up the direction of the scream to a two tier ridge section I could see across this arroyo a cave opening. Hiked down and my kids rested while I hiked up to the cave. You can stand in it but it goes back only 10 feet maybe. There were bees coming and going to a large crack in the back of the cave. On one side of the cave is a drawing of a bee. I've been on the tomo khani tour and the bee is painted with black and red. Part of it is eroded away.. Not "touched up" like in the Creation Cave which is on the North side of this Escarpment. In addition to the nettle spring, there are small springs oozing out at 4,200 foot elevation around the area....I found a small "never been dry spring" in 14 years of taking people to where I heard the Yeti scream. Sand Canyon has a lot of interesting things going on. Seasonal food from Pinon Pine and Juniper Berry...black chia was pointed out on the Spring Tour I took with my kids, a lady friend and a professor from New Mexico. Oddly there were 2 docents and 2 other local officials to guide us in and out.
My home page photo is from the north end of Sand Canyon. I think Sasquatch use the same areas local ancestors used but no longer occupy.
    Always Be Tracking
    Always Have Camera Ready
Always Hike with a Friend and a Firearm
Always tell a loved one where your going and when to expect an all-safe-call.
The last time I took a friend to the spring we passed some cool cliff over hangs where I heard the Yowie Scream. My friend said whats that and when I look I see a deer running up hill away from us... and then I realize it has a long tail whippin back and forth as it ran: "MOUNTAIN LION".. We walked right under its ambush spot over looking trails leading to the spring... oy vey, no gun, we are lucky from what I've learned - cougars will attack humans...

For years I have heard the same thing in the el paso mnts. My gold claim is directly above nightmare gulch where I face the Richardo formation. It's a woman and there also has been what looks like a swarm of 🪰's. Trying to come to wear my camp fire Is located. It's almost as if there is a force field keep this swarm like thing out. My friend saw it one time and I could see nothing. A yr or so later. It came back whole I was drinking with a friend. Out of nowhere. Dude starts flipping out all drunk. "It's evil" it's trying to get us. Mind u we are both archaeologist. I see & hear nothing. A yr or so later. I like yo stay at my camp on early spring. To enjoy the fkowere and work comfortably. One night after being there for a month or so. I start hear a woman's screams of desperation. On most nights. Then. I see the swarm that two people have described to me. Holy shit status for me. I have watched thus swarm like thing trying find a way at me. I've always felt extremely wanted& protected. At thus location. With all the shit I've seen and heard. I almost question my militant atheist stance. Lmfatheistao all real and true. Fo camp next to my camp. Fine tge snow white mine. You will see my camp that is gated off. Please respect our private property. I'd camp at the sw mine and hike down to the edge of nightmare gulch. Who knows what ull observe? I would not bring an Andy Gump out there and play bloody Mary. 😒

Another great video Alex! Im still so happy that I got to share this adventure with you. Your filmaking style is very polished, you’d never know there was a whole tour group. Ive enjoyed revisiting Tomo Kahni as a solitary journey through your video. I love that you found an artists rendition of the petroglyph boulder on the hill. 👍😊

Can you talk more about the civilizations themselves? It's a bit difficult finding much useful information on California's Native Peoples... or could you potentially cover a few of their myths and creation stories? Regardless, I still love these videos! Thanks for sharing.

Hello Walrus, thanks for watching the series and your comments. One of the sources that I use for my information is from a web site known as academia.edu . This web site enables its users to download, read, or research academic papers from around the world who share the same research interest. This website has a great amount of information about native cultures in the US and elsewhere in the world.........alex

Are you familiar with the thunderbolts project?
They have a theory that some of the rock art is a recording of what people all over the world were seeing in the sky.. Or experiencing first hand.

Whenever I see those rings I think of Atlantis, like they and many other peoples do this to remember their homeland. The before we had to start again I realise this can’t be true but it sits in the back of my head.
