Gravity or geometry, who cares?

A lot has changed since that apple hit Newton's head. That apple fell, as they usually do, but would you be able to explain why? Do you know what gravity is? In this talk, we will try to answer this not so simple question in an intuitive way. We'll see why the most famous visualisation of how gravity works (i.e. the plastic sheet representation, which you are encouraged to check) is problematic. To finish up, we’ll review some concepts of General Relativity, the current established theory of gravity, and talk about one of its most astonishing predictions: black holes.
