We visited the mine several times, as Hungarian cavers together with Slovak friends. In the lower shaft we got to about 3500 meters or a little beyond. At the " junction" where the clay fill is, which flowed in through the drop shaft, the carbon dioxide level started to rise, up to only 0.6%. From there it rose steadily and at one point reached 4.55%! We didn't go any further from there, because this level can be lethal after only half an hour. I would therefore advise everyone to take a calibrated carbon dioxide meter (like Analox Aspida) into the mine for their own safety. In some places, the carbon dioxide level has risen from 0.5% to over 2% within a few metres, so it is possible to run into life-threatening concentrations anywhere. At the end of one of the shafts we found abandoned or hidden hand grenades (2 of them), don't pick them as they are probably sharp, but they are rusted apart and therefore extremely dangerous. We also found a passage (very difficult to access) where, judging by the footprints on the floor of the passage, no one had been for 100 years. Here we found shoe prints with nails driven into them and no other footprints, say of modern boots, shoes or rubber boots. Here too the carbon dioxide levels were very high, we had to escape. Where high carbon dioxide levels are experienced, you have to move slowly because the gas is stratified, be careful not to stir it up, so it can be considerably higher near the ground, don't bend down! I am copying here from a scientific publication: "CO2 toxicity in humans Carbon dioxide at low concentration has little, if any, toxicological effects. At higher concentrations (>5%), it causes the development of hypercapnia and respiratory acidosis. Severe acidosis increases the effects of parasympathetic nervous activity, possibly by interfering the hydrolysis of acetylcholine by acetylcholinesterase, resulting in a depression of the respiration and the circulation. Concentrations of more than 10% carbon dioxide may cause convulsions, coma, and death. CO2 levels of more than 30% act rapidly leading to loss of consciousness in seconds. This would explain why victims of accidental intoxications often do not act to resolve the situation (open a door, etc.)" www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5380556/
good day, but this dungeon is very extensive, according to my suggestion, there was no need for a CO2 detector, it was not present at all, only to such an extent that it gave me a slight headache, yes, there were a lot of artifacts, so I saw a lot of them, and I learned that I did not give the word even from the beginning the corridor was very narrow and there were fallen stones everywhere, feel free to contact me by e-mail medezni.svety@gmail.com

Robíte si aj plány prejdených chodieb, alebo máte aj mapy?
Berete si do štol krom baterek atd. i něco speciálního? Já si třeba říkám, jak si označovat cestu, abych se neztratil. Jak to děláte?
