- The 50th anniversary of the Berlin Marathon and this was a very special one for me. My 5th marathon, 3rd world major and a HUGE PB for the books.
In the video I capture the whole of race day; the lead up, journey to the start, the race itself and the aftermath.
3/6 world majors now ticked off...the question is, what's next?!

Thank you so much! It still blows my mind to be honest. It took me 5 years and multiple attempts to run a sub 2 hour half marathon. So to then do this twice, back to back in a marathon still feels totally wild to me, let alone 3:30! Thank you for watching and commenting 🙌🏼🙏🏻

Your 5th marathon but 3rd major…..how have you managed that ? Well done
The honest answer; I have been incredibly lucky with ballots. I have ran London x3 times; twice for charity and I got in once in the ballot last year after 10 years of entering (I won’t be entering again now as I’ve had more than my fair share!). Chicago I also got in via the ballot. With Berlin I was really fortunate to have a place with Meta Endurance - a company I do some shoe testing and reviewing with. So extremely fortunate I know 🙌🏼 Thank you for watching and commenting! 😃

That’s so true - I thought the same!! Weirdly the filming helped me psychologically to break it up. But you are right; I definitely need to do a marathon were I completely get my head down and focus on nothing but the run 👌🏼 Thanks for watching and commenting 😃🙏🏻
How did you not sweat at all? I did 16km yesterday I was all sweaty and I'm thin not fat....192cm 90kg :)
Hahah I definitely did! I lost a lot of water on the day - was very dehydrated at the end. I seem to have a bit of a ‘super power’ in which I look fairly ‘fresh’ after marathons. I certainly don’t look the same after my interval sessions. Maybe I needed to try harder on race day 😂😮💨 Thank you for watching and your comment 🙌🏼
