Shaw Komori and Joshua Nemaire

Shaw Komori is a Japanese-born trumpet player based in Cape Town, South Africa. Initially classically trained, Shaw played in various orchestras and competed in Eisteddfods before starting his studies at the South African College of Music, majoring in Jazz Performance. In 2019 Shaw went on exchange to the University of North Carolina before completing his studies in 2020. Shaw is now a freelance musician and performs with a wide range of local performing artists spanning various genres in Cape Town.
Joshua Nemaire is a 21-year-old bass player from Mutare, Zimbabwe. Joshua started in the church playing drums at about age 10. He is currently studying a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Studies at the University of Cape Town, South African College of music.
