I'll never forget the day this album came out. I was a huge fan of Bubblegum. The day Blues Funeral arrived was a Friday. Myself & my two roommates Jules n Kev were waiting on someone to pop over. I suggested we put this album on and give it a listen through. We all had a couch each to lay out on. We played this album threw & as the last song finished, all 3 of us raised up in pure joy and disbelief at just how good the album was from the get go till the last note & as the last note faded away, there was a knock at the door. Positively adored every second of Steven Janssen on this tour. He brought his great stage presence, finesse, class and his exquisite effortless passionate talent... Perfectly executing every note with care just like Mark with his singing. It was a lucky day for me to see them in Toronto.
Mark says even now that if he could only play songs from one album live then he would choose this. You can see why, an unbelievably strong set of songs.
I would like to purchase this cd, if it's available. This is jaw-droppingly great and better than I remember even the actual studio album, but I now need to go back to the source material to see if I may have completely undersold it. Still, the play the hell out of this material here! Fantastic!
I can hear why- amazingly great! I need to go back to the source material. I find that this outshines that because the playing and singing are exquisite but I maybe I undersold the original studio recording.
How many times bands or someone who has a terrific catalog of songs plays mostly new songs off the new album? NOW, how often do they play the new album and EVERY SONG IS INCREDIBLE?! 👍👍👍👍👍

I was there. I read the rumour that the vynil version of the show was availavable at the end of. If this is true, bad luck for me, I left too soon running to the metro station. Amazing show

the rumor was untrue--you can't record, master, press, and package an LP in one night.
