Honestly, BTS is the group that got me into KPOP, so they'll always be my all-time favorite. However, if you haven't reacted to them already, another great group is Stray Kids. Thunderous or God's Menu or Maniac would be excellent starting places if you wanted to react to them.

That’s a really fun aspect of kpop title tracks (and some b-sides), the beat switches. Psychologically…it keeps you interested. I have no doubt that’s the purpose for it. With that said, there are really great producers on these tracks, so the switches are rarely bad. Some can be jarring tho, even if you end up digging it.
The first time I watched bts it was because of DNA and then I heard Taehyung’s voice and I love that deep sultry tone so to me Taehyung is like bts’s siren his voice it just so unique and everything.
Loved your reaction. I consider DNA their gateway song to the western mainstream. BTS first U.S. TV appearance was performing DNA at the 2017 AMAs. It took my breath away! Then 4 yrs. later in 2021 at the same awards show they won Artist of the Year! When you have time you should check out that performance. Then, if you really want to blow your mind, watch the 2018 BTS MMA performance of IDOL and the 2019 MMA full performance. (That one is about 35 mins long.) Stay healthy and happy!

There are two deep voices in BTS - RM and V. The smooth ones is V while the piercing ones is from RM. That one is RM, who rapped at that part you pointed out. V is the one who sang that bridge part, he really fits in these kinds of parts.
