    I have put close to 10,000 miles on my 23 T - Even w/o RWS speced, she is an absolute Weapon, hangs with all of the top Sports/supercars on the road, no problem.

    Lightweight entry level 911! You can’t really exploit the full capabilities of a ST, GT3, GT3RS or GT4RS on the public roads… maybe this is the one to get. It’s cool that an entry level car has the options this model has.

      Bro you can’t even extract the performance of a GTS, or a Carrera S either they are WAY to fast honestly. Even this supposed base T is very quick and I’m not even gonna mention tuning and bolt on aftermarket parts. Lol

      All true, but not truly "entry level." Close! I own one and it's a fantastic car. I had a GTS on order and changed it to this when it came out.

      I like my Targa 4 and my 911 T (992) both have more power than anyone is going to use - even in a track. In fact on a track the difference between the base engine and a GT3 with 100 more ho is only a few tenths of a second with a pro driver. And of course an extra $100,000. I prefer to add more options which I will see and actually use than the extra hp I will almost never use. On the road the only time the extra hp is used is getting on the freeway and the higher power cars are at speed so fast you can’t enjoy it. I appreciate the ego and status of driving to a porsche club meeting in a GT3 makes you cooler than the guys in smaller engine cars- but when on the road - 70 maybe up to 90 mph is all you can drive and the base engine Porsches get you to that speed fast enough. Also the base 911 engine makes a lot of crackles and pops- more than the 718 GTs and more than the GT3 also and the base engine responds much faster also. It leaps forward due to the smaller turbo blades than in the S or GTS.
      The T is a lot more noise than the Base engine Carrera and rougher riding -

    I’ve watched every review of the Carrera T, and this is the best in-car footage I’ve seen. You really captured the spirit and excitement of driving this car. I even think I can detect the rear axel steering in some shots, the way the car seems to unnaturally rotate. Really nice work here.

    As a person who has had multiple GT3, GT3RS, and a 4RS, I'd go T all day. It's such a sweetheart. I bought one after first test drive, and it's my only Porsche right now. I did go PDK though due to track use in future. Manual is slow, even on backroads.

    My 2024 T is coming in June, really looking forward to it. I specc'ed it in Gentian Blue with buckets seats, rear seat delete, manual (of course), the carbon fiber roof and other smaller options. I had a 991.2 Carrera T before and am now looking forward for the 992.

    As someone who needs AWD, I'd get either a C4S, C4 GTS, Turbo, or Turbo S. This is still an excellent value.

      You CAN find C4s’s, but the ideal C4 is next to impossible to get allocated.
      I know…..I waited over 2 years…and finally had to switch.

    I would only ever want my 911 with the engine of a GT3, but if I had to have one without that engine? It's the Carrera T no doubt! 💚 This is all the sports car one could ever 🥰💚

    Here’s a prime example of not being familiar with what is being reviewed….
    It seems that a lot of “experts” are unaware the lightweight glass is also sound DEADENING, not sound ENHANCING.
    It’s a little thing, but if you’re going to review a $140K car, get it right !

      Sick. Love the Aerokit and Burmester. But 18-ways on a T? That’s a lot of extra weight on a trim that’s supposed to be a minimalist enthusiast spec. I’d go with the full bucket seats, or at least the 4-ways if FBS are too much of a hassle.

    Parker, you and the rest of the TH-cam car cognoscenti were completely AWOL for the first generation Carrera-T (991.2) and it’s nice to see you finally woke up and recognized the T for what it is, a complete and pure enthusiast’s 911 that may well be the most under-appreciated model in the 911 line-up. If you want an even more raw and slightly more light weight experience go back and test the 991.2-T (the car that Herr Preuninger said he drives daily) 😢with rear wheel steering, sports exhaust and 918 buckets - you will be even more blown away. Congrats again for getting a massive scoop on all the rest of your TH-cam competitors (with the exception of the Straight Pipes guys) that were all asleep at the switch when the T came out in 2019.

    finally obtain a allocation after 10 months by switching two dealers.
    total with options $148,110.00 exclude dealer ADM.
    order placed on October 02
    vehicle schedule be delivery on April 27/2024 after push back from February.

      price mostlikly kept rising

    What makes the 911S faster than the 911T? I understand its a simple matter of the factory tune, but even everything is the same with the engine/turbos?

      The turbo blades are larger in diameter / also you can order the manual transmission - I have owned or own today a 718 GT4, GT3 992, 911 T 992, 718 GTS Boxster and the base engine cars make the best engine sounds - and they get better over the first 20,000 miles - not sure why. Pops, crackles, backfires, downshift crack - all in sport mode for some reason. But the GT4 made none of this nor does the GTS Boxster. So far my 992 Targa 4 with 20,000 miles on the car makes the best sounds of all. The GT3 makes a nice sharp crack when shifting under load but not a lot of the pop and crackle stuff - but only 1,000 miles on that car. So far this Targa makes better sounds with the PDK base engine than the 911 T with a manual base engine. This could change as the lineage racks up on the 911 T.
      All wonderful cars. Very different personalities which is why I own a number of them but definitely the base Carrera 4 is a wonderful car and the best overall deal in terms of price for performance.
      The GT3 does make a satisfying scream as the rpm’s go up and up which is a thrill every time I drive the car hard - and the engine shakes the. At at idle also. But all that is an extra $100,000 - I have six Porsche models currently and the one I will never sell is the Targa 4 with the pdk and base engine and the hard top that disappears. Looks the most amazing sitting in the garage parked also.

      The ecu tune, intercooler and turbines are different for the added power. But they all have the same engine. In my opinion, 500 hp for the 911 is too much power for street use

      I have it off most of the time I’m driving my 600LT if you look closely at the dash. That being said when it’s not my car and I’m not on the track I find the risk typically not worth it. It was off during both recent Maserati reviews

      Other than it is a 911 by name it no comparison to a GT3 Touring’s raw 9K, Motorsport NA engine, 6 speed gearbox and razor sharp steering and suspension … Carrera T is a great daily driver and excellent value for money

    For anyone seriously looking at one of these, please check out the 991.2 T first. I have owned both and think the 991.2 is not only more fun and better looking, but a hugely better price. 992T was “perfect” but a little boring because of that and WAY too expensive

    I'd rather have a base spec Carrera manual with the smaller wheels or just buy the S with it's larger brakes.
    Not that I wouldn't take the T if Santa is reading the comments 😂

      The T is a base engine car with stiffer suspension and larger wheels standard and a manual transmission is available - no extra cost over the pdk. I own a 2023 manual T, 2021 Targa 4 (base) pdk and a 24’ pdk GT3. And the T feels like a baby GT3- and a really nice car overall. Much more performance feeling than the Targa 4 and slightly less angry as the gt3. Truth is the T cost me $150,000 with the gloss black aerokit and the GT3 cost me $250,000 - the T is a much better value - at $100,000 less than the GT3. Best overall car for all aspects of use - is my Targa 4.

    That has to be some sort of joke the moment you mention it STARTS at 124,000 dollars. For a car with less performance and looks than a Z51 C8 Stingray with a cold air intake, exhaust and springs. At 124,00, you could technically have a FULL carbon fiber aero and FULL carbon fiber INTERIOR Stingray with the other mods mentioned on a Stingray that starts out as a better car.

      Better materials, better fit than Corvette, sorry but performance (pure numbers) isn’t everything, not everyone must buy the same performance car, there is a market for the Corvette and there is a market for Porsches. Many people don’t mind paying this kind of cash for Porsches, the brand is very desirable and comparing to say Ferraris very affordable. And not everyone likes carbon fiber 😂

      You're comparing apple with Orange. Z51 C8 no question had more power. Porsche and Covette total different class.
      nevertheless Carrea 911 T absolutely one of fun and best car for daily driving.
      my 2024 T schedule to be arrival in February 27 listed price was $124,900.00 with options that I spec out to total $148,110.00
      not include dealer mark up that I finally give in because waiting over 10 months for allocation.
