    That helped me some, but I'd love to see more start to finish watercolor tutorials that show the settings you need and how to use them in more detail.

    Love using Rebelle 5. I'm currently working on comparisons to help look a digital Watercolor between the different software apps and I really think Rebelle 5 is a game changer.

    Just purchased the pro version today! Having SOOO much fun! My only gripe is that the software is running through Rosetta on mac. Are you planning to introduce Apple Silicone support ?

    Is there a plan to launch rebelle on iPad ? This software seems to be so amazing.

      At the moment the desktop versions of our software are compatible with Windows and macOS only. We plan to release an iOS version of Rebelle for iPad in the future. Many of our users use the iPad with Rebelle - they connect it as a tablet device to their computers.
      Please refer to this forum post, as it might be helpful for the setup:

    I'm brand new to Rebelle, and to watercolors. This was a very good intro to the new features, but are there more basic how-to videos for getting started with watercolors in Rebelle? Something like, "You can use this brush with these settings to paint leaves..." Also, is it possible to mix colors and then pick it up on the brush to paint somewhere else on the paper? Thanks.

    Thanks for the great tutorials! I just bought the software today and I can't get the same effect as you do. I'm using the flat dry brush with the same paper and same visual settings as you..even pigment activated. At the time 0:53 when you say "we gonna push it over to the side" some big drops are flowing through the paint and building big drops which creates this nice effect. Is this a brush setting? I can't get these bigger drops like you... It's like your layer has already been wet. Could you please explain? I noticed your "Wet or Dry the Layer" setting in the Layers tab is highlighted which is not the case for me and I can't make that happen too. Also when you paint the strokes they seem to enlarge themself very much and take a lot of the detail from the canvas. I tried modifying the brush but I can't get the same visual result as you.

      Hi Jeremy, (Justice responding) try adjusting drip size in visual settings and see if setting the water level in the brush properties up higher. absorbency, rewet and texture can make a difference as well on how much of that water stays still and how much moves and how much traction you might have. I believe I had them set at 4,5,6,2 (absorbency, rewet, texture, edge darkening). If that doesn't work respond here and I'll help

    Hi Justice, just started using Rebelle and I love it. You're tutorials are amazing!! thank you. I was wondering if you could answer a question for me: I see in this tutorial that you do NOT have pause diffusion on but it seems that the water is not running. Can you explain. THANK YOU!

    Hello, around 9 minutes when you were trying different brushes. Thanks for the response!

    • @EscapeMotions
      @EscapeMotions  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      To do that, adjust the water level down on the brush properties. I have it at 27. You'll notice if you look closely that it is still diffusing, but just less. Actually was a big question I had as well when I started. - Justice

    Do the color names come like that?

  • @ARTATAKDOTCO

    Justin. May I suggest you get in touch with the biggest name artists like Takashi Murakami, Cecily Brown, Yu Youhan Anselm Kiefer, working with physical paint and invite them to give Rebelle a try.. This software needs to be legitimized in the art world and that would be the way to do it.

    I tried so many art softwear, most of them doesn't feel good in the hand. Rebelle has good feeling when you paint, using those brushes. I can't explaint.

    I would like to like 'Pigment' mode, but why does it make the colors so intense (and artificial)? Shouldn't it just improve the mixing of colors?

    , lack's Rebelle as much as I like it, is lacking in opacity control in watercolor. Real watercolor becomes less saturated when you add water. This is a fundamental flaw. I cannot use it, except as a poor substitute to real watercolor. Also it makes no sense thst icreasing granulation makes the color darker even at the lowest opacty setting. What the heck.
