The greatest rock singer and fantastic musician of all time, Freddie Mercury, has a birthday on September 5th ... he would be 75 years old. Freddie Mercury, a special beautiful genius, his music is still alive today!
Freddie is the BEST, a real LEGEND, forever I love FREDDIE and Queen. I could never without them. Everyday is a day with Freddie, his voice, the songs, the music, how I see him on the bühne, of after the shows, at home. Everywhere!! 💖💖💖💖💖
This is great stuff. I remember a friend in the military telling me Geoff Tate (queensryche) had a five octave voice. It made me wonder what range Freddie had. This video proves that Mercury is still my favorite singer and as good as Tate in high pitch vocalization (and better at mid and low range singing).
Grandissimo artista dalle capacità ineguagliabili, geniale e superaffascinante. Ha lasciato un vuoto immenso ma la sua voce divina e la sua musica saranno eterne . Grazie Freddie e grazie Queen. 💕👄❤❤❤
Very impressive, not many women can do that even and He did without a struggle. I knew he was Awesome, but man he was Freakin Awesome on a totally different level compared to us mere human's. 😮. From A5 to G5. I'm Godsmack.
Absolutely amazing 🥰🥰👏👏 Just gotta love his voice!! 🤗🙀😻 Miss him dearly, wish I could have seen him live 🥺😥 Thankfully we can hear him and see him at TH-cam 🙏🙏
Freddie Mercury had a beautiful unique voice that's loved by millions of people. Freddie was special he resonated with his audiences I miss Freddie so much. I adored him in my teenage years and I still love him. Freddie was a gifted musician and fantastic front man. He always included John, Roger, and Brian when he was interviewed Freddie made it a point to make sure they were all credited for their talents equally.
Nice compilation of these notes, but there are some mistakes - Time Waits for No One was recorded in 1986, It's A Beautiful Day was done in 1980, and you're missing the D♭5 in the choruses of A Winter's Tale.
I'm kinda glad a Winter's Tale was left out....I can't listen to that one without crying my eyes out. Probably the last song written by Freddie, he knew he was dying, and yet he experienced bliss in his beloved Montreux. Jim writes about this time in his book Mercury and Me. The song always has me emotional.
.......however, a two-line h can also be heard here (which is a large third more than the two-line g heard so far), given the lower limit known so far (large B) now defines the 3 octave + semitone range.
I think one of the highest notes Freddie hit was on the song;; ''Under Pressure'' with David Bowie, problem is wen u watch the video it gets cut in the middle of the note so its hard 2 judge the performance.
nope, he's definitely a tenor. Mostly only rock listeners spread this myth that he's a "baritone", he would have absolutely been trained tenor by a legit teacher if he was singing opera.
@@Bibiana862 that means nothing LOL, Caballe was not a successful teacher and was not a baritone, not to mention she was completely inexperienced with rock singing. She was wrong. The greatest operatic baritones were taught by baritone teachers, not sopranos, sorry.
@@NANOG-P8 even if they sound strained that doesn't mean anything. He knows what he's doing considering he's praised so highly. Also alot of singers sound strained but they know what they are doing like Lewis Capaldi
Technique is not everything there is so much more to singing, and Freddie's technique is not that bad. He never lost any range through the years. If only technique was important then we would only be listening to opera singers. And he is not screaming, he has a powerful voice. Listen to someone like Chester Bennington if you really want to hear some screaming.
Dang, I knew he got high but I never acknowledged just how high he got. Thanks for this
fun fact: he can go even higher than this xD

No es mezzosoprano? . _ .
@@thiagoromero6816 I guess you could say that. Freddie could sing in the soprano range, but it probably wasn’t too easy for him.

Quizás sea así pero es la mejor voz de rock para siempre pa
His trash technique gave him the fastest vibrato. twice as fast as Pavarotti.
Not bad for someone who never had vocal training.
Technique is not everything there is so much more to singing, and Freddie's technique is not that bad. He never lost any range through the years. If only technique was important then we would only be listening to opera singers. And he is not screaming, he has a powerful voice. @@mori1bund that's not really a compliment. When a vibrato is that fast, it's generally not a healthy one
