First hearing this song when I got the album and realize ROCKY was singing the chorus my heart felt happy that I wanted to cry screaming in my truck driving saying ROCKY singing the chorus ROCKY singing the chorus I teared up while driving. Whoever decided to let ROCKY sing the chorus thank you very much I would love to hear him sing more chorus. I was completely satisfied listening to ROCKY sing the chorus. My number one favorite song on this album.
Okay but can we talk about the lyrics of this song? I just find them to be so beautiful and so... ASTRO. I especially love the lines "even if it reaches the other side of the world and does not become a storm" and "If only I could fly a little higher". It sorta gives the message that even if your efforts don't always have a huge effect, they do help us improve and become a better version of ourselves ("if only I could fly a little higher"). AND I love how it applies to them as well- they may not be the most famous group out there, or have a lot of wins, but their aim has always been to show a better, and newer side of themselves to us. Their humble but at the same time, ambitious side really comes through in this song, and I just LOVE that about them. Well, this is just my interpretation, but I'd like to think of it that way :')
Rocky's vocals!! I'm so happy they're utilizing his voice to it's full extent! I've always thought it kind of sucks when a rapper in a kpop group has such a beautiful singing voice, but they don't use it much for the sake of keeping up the members positions. His singing voice is so, so beautiful!
