Lego probably miss spelled it because to conserve space on the sticker without making the word small that you can’t see it so they took some letters out thinking that people would not see it
You’re being too picky. If you look closer you would see that Dissey Trais actually is Disney Train. It’s just the quality of the photo. Another thing is that LEGO is an international company so it would be weird if they sold a LEGO set with the American flag on it in other countries. And finally LEGO is basing the set on the actual train station in Disneyland, but it’s supposed to be their own version of it and not a scaled down replica. That’s why the sign says Disney Railroad instead of Disneyland Railroad. I’m a huge fan of Disneyland but I’m not bothered by the inaccuracies. I understand why they had to make changes and I’m really happy Disneyland finally has a LEGO set.
I just got this set Yesterday and I absolutely love it. Even though I’m a huge Disneyland fan, the flaws don’t really bug me at all. I can Understand Why it just says “Disney Station” instead of “Disneyland” I personally believe they just put ‘Disney station’ so it could have more appeal outside of California. Lego and Disney are big companies so they want to sell their product as many places as possible. If the sign says just “Disney” perhaps people in Florida would be more likely to purchase it. It’s not perfect logic, but I believe that’s likely their thought process
I think you are right as to why it says Disney instead of Disneyland. A fix to this would be optional Stickers, that say Disneyland or Disney World, that way you have a choice.
It doesn’t say the specific names because they wanted to be all inclusive, so anyone who buys this can think oh me this could fit in with my park even though it is Disneyland they just wanted it to be all inclusive
It’s a great set overall. However, there are some small elements that I think could be improved that I find disappointing. These elements do not detract from the set as a whole, therefore I think it’s great. I hope you can understand :)
As I say to everyone who complains about the engine design, the locomotive is not meant to perfectly represent the Disneyland Railroad #1. The engine was purposefully designed to be able to stand in for any Disney steam engine. The naming is of course the best example. Contrary to what many believe, Lego and Disney are not stupid. Both companies know full well that the engine in the pictures is named C.K. Holliday and lettered for the Disneyland Railroad. It would be stupid to make the train specific to one theme park, as it would limit the range. It's the same with most Disney Parks merchandise, even the official Disney Parks train set you can find right now. In fact, the engine in the Lego set is a very close match for the locomotive of Disney's toy train. Saying the set is bad because it doesn't look exactly like the Disneyland version of a "Disney Train" is ludicrous.
Good argument, but I would like LEGO to strive for accuracy in the set. I don’t think the set is bad for what I personally dislike about the set, I think it’s actually one of the best sets LEGO has put out. Also, under no means do I think either Disney or LEGO are stupid companies at all.
I wish it would have been less expensive for what you get, I think they could have included the hill with the Mickey Mouse made out of flowers.
That’s a good idea

That’s a good guess. Maybe so
Don’t worry I buy this one and have more saves money again before go to cruise vacation
Overall it does look cool!
Agreed

I know I’m being to picky, I’m just a nut for this kind of stuff. I still love the set though
I gotta admit the main street station looks great
I agree

I understand. I hope to get it soon too!

Please don’t kill me...but if I get this set, ima take all the Disney stuff off, and use it as a normal train.
How is something disappointing, but great at the same time
It’s a great set overall. However, there are some small elements that I think could be improved that I find disappointing. These elements do not detract from the set as a whole, therefore I think it’s great. I hope you can understand :)
My biggest complaint is the actual CK Holliday’s boiler jacket is blue to resemble Russia Iron not green like in the LEGO set
I didn’t notice that. Well that adds to the list unfortunately
The words on the side of train actually says Disney Train it is just that the images you have aren’t the best quality.
Also LEGO might of given Minnie a cloth skirt so she can sit down with connecting to the studs on the train
Chip and Dale are out of scale because they are supposed to be the size that they are in parks a the character meeting areas.
I didn’t think about Chip and Dale being in Parks form. It’s good you brought that up. Good points.
When the coolest thing in the set is a trash can lol
Well yeah, it’s a Disneyland trash can what more could you want :)
I what that trash can because it's where I belong

You know he never said it was bad, just a little disappointing.

@@thehappyhaunter605 To strive for accuracy would be to miss the point entirely.
LEGO is cheaping out. 'Lazy LEGO' lol
Kind of yeah
