    The Candy seems to be working when I put it in the middle of my tongue, I can Say R properly when it's the beginning but I straggle when it's the middle or at the end of the words.

    When you make that sound with the wrong pronunciation, it reminds of the Russian pronunciantion. And, as always, your videos are so helpful, dear Coach Shane! Greetings from Brazil!

    In Brazil we have an accent in which the /r/ sounds exactly as in English, so it's not difficult for us to pronounce it

    Thank you for your video about the "R" sound. I used to pronounce the "R" with the tongue curling down. But after watching your video, i'm trying to fix that. But, it's really hard to curl my tongue for every with-r words, especially when they're close together and i speak them fast. Is there any way that i can fix that?

    • @coachshanesesl
      @coachshanesesl  10 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Anh Văn Yes, it's very difficult so I always tell students TAKE YOUR TIME and focus on simple words with R. Practice a bit every day--eventually it will become more natural. THEN you can work on speed and more complex combinations.
