A step in the right direction against extra judicial killing. Nowadays police are on a shooting spree yet our constitution which we voted overwhelming for (Article 25). the court should give life sentences for such elements. Kudos to the court

John Ngotho must be living in another country other than Kenya. this is a country where
      1. police will storm into your house at midnight without a search or arrest warrant, they dont Identify themselves, ransack your house, terrify your family then later tell you that you need to come with them to the station. .... your family is going to collect your corpse in some bush. I urge the family to reopen the other case so that Katitu can go in for life. This impunity called police brutality must stop somewhere.

there is something John Ngotho is not understanding. He supports the fact that guns are more powerful than people's brains. when we support the conviction of Katitu and like minded cops it is not that we hate them is because we want them to follow the law and avert situations that may make us go back to anarchy. How does a country slide into anarchy? Evidence, from Libya, Somalia, Yemen, DRC or even Sierra Leone show that when people who are in authority fail to follow the law you don't expect the citizens to conform. the examples I have mentioned above were countries where dictators reigned supreme and security agents thought they were above the law. What followed is a lose lose situation. in fact if Katitu will be set free it will be the obligation of citizens to maintain status quo by lynching such elements.
