You were lucky to find a display in the states, I had to get one from China for about the same price, but apart from a few bent pins when it arrived, I've been very happy with it. Still good after 5 years
You must not have heard me screaming at the screen for you to at least look at the board under the display before you installed the new one. You don't even know why the other screen failed. Oh well, I'm all calmed down now. lol

I have a request for you, I replaced all electrolytics and tantalums, all works great but the AC current bellow 10 ma AC, can you run some tests on yours to compare results. It was the same before replacing the caps and re-calibrating the 10 ma AC as per the calibration procedure. Thank you.

Wow, an original display - i thought those were unobtanium. The chinese replacements are know to be of a terrible quality and are a bit hit&miss if you get a dud or not. I ordered one of those and shortly found out that the quality is lacking a bit, so i never replaced mine. Oh well, can't win every time.

Is that an anit-static towel? Some cloth can generate some pretty good charge if you aren't careful.
