Literally had the same issue when I took mine into the shop to get the valves inspected. Said they didn’t know what was causing that light to come on but I took it anyways. I ended up taking my bike apart and found that tiny little hose not connected. I don’t blame them for missing that but still annoyed they didn’t put effort into fixing it.
That MAP vacuum hose was my nemesis just a week or two ago...damn that thing. Did a whole race weekend before finally figuring out how dumb I am for not putting it back on after installing a motionpro throttle.
Had the air box and tank off my 08 the other day to install a new throttle, put it all back on and the fairings only to see the fi light when it started because I forgot that stupid map sensor hose
@@Master_Yoshi I went right to the manual and looked at causes for fault codes, then took 20 mins of fighting with needle nose pliers to get that mf back on

I just replaced my fuel pump. It was not super fun at all. I ended up with fuel on the floor and the bike. I learned a lot from that little escapade.

I wish I could find a cbr for $800 great find. I just did spark plugs yesterday. How difficult was the valve adjustment?
the adjustment and check wasn't too difficult, just time consuming. Look at my latest short before you do it though!
