@One World Flyer todays flight looks very smoothly flown doesn't look like a bumpy flight today lol , no.2 your lucky the air hostess are friendly and polite , the last time i took a flight with my dad from u.a.e to the u.k the air hostess were very moody and rude and unfriendly , but sometimes you get some who are friendly & polite & will talk to you sometimes you can one who's very rude & unfriendly lol , the wing tip look's very beautifully made well done B.A , no.3 was London Heathrow airport like a ghosttown ? Haha hope so not lmao lol

Wow, the pilots nailed that landing! Super smooth. Strange they were delayed for fog when it was a beautifully clear day over London. You have some amazing shots of the city! Well done. Astounding that flight would be so cheap, I imagine it is much more today. Was this soon before Covid?

I was on 5 BA flights within the last 2,5 years.
Once, when I just reached my BA Bronze Status, the purser came up to me and congratulated 😅

That seems like a great flight! I miss flying. Even if the security checks will be more tedious and the in-flight meals to be paid, the experience of flying is still strong. I'll enjoy flights even more in the future.

BA crew are usually superb. They really make up for any shortcomings of the flight. That is why we have been flying them these past few years. Always love that view of London when you approach runway 27 on a clear day! So beautiful.

The view gave me goosebumps, it was too beautiful😂 The pilot was also very professional, standing in front of everyone while giving his announcement, like a real captain.

Great video, Jayden! I was happy to see that BA was proactive and got you on an earlier flight given the weather issues in London. That is some great customer service. I agree with you that BA should at least provide basic beverages for free. It is frustrating to connect from a transatlantic flight only to find you have to pay to get some water. 😒 Nice you had such a great cabin crew. I appreciated that the Captain stood in front of the cabin to notify the passengers of the flight delay rather than hiding in the cockpit. That’s a classy move. Stay safe and hope to see you in the skies soon!

My mum was happy too because I wasn't in the lounge to annoy her (she flew Emirates to HKG via DXB)🤣 I have similar comments for Qantas, they serve so little for breakfast on their long haul flights to Australia, so those connecting onto a domestic flight will be starving, although they do serve some snacks on the shorter flight too. The captain was classy and professional, like a real captain! I've only seen this on BA myself, and trip reports on some US flights :)

My last flight to LHR was over Windsor seeing London in the background. Every time when I fly to LHR I try to get a window seat on the right site. So I can be happy that I did an upgrade to the Club Europe and BA forced me to check in on the left side. If I had seated on the right side I wouldn't have been able to see London and Windsor.

How do you search up the plane's age? It's locked in flightradar24, if you don't have premium account.
indeed you need premium for flightradar24. But there are many other sites that show you the aircraft information like airfleets.net :)
One advantage of getting to the airport nice and early Jayden...I always do...some would think I am mad but always be ready for changes !! Always great views when you bus to the aircraft !! Well done mate !! An excellent explanation from the Captain !! Great you could change seats....at least a window !! Great take off views and sound as always J !! I was supposed to meet family and friends in Barcelona earlier this year and of course all those plans went out the window...so Jayden I am determined to still get there on day...god knows when though !! M and S food is great !! Great views coming into London...so may landmarks !! At least the fog had cleared and you could land...and take off on your next leg to HK....thanks again Jayden...RH...RN..well done mate and stay safe and well !!
yep I always love to arrive early. It's not like waiting for a bus that you just stand there. For a plane ride, you can roam around the terminal, do some shopping and go to the lounge! How lovely😍 It was such a beautiful day at Barcelona and the bus ride was awesome. The moment I got off the bus, the sunlight hit my face and it was so comfortable😂 Oh I love M&S, we're lucky to have M&S food in HK but often triple the price there than in the UK! I wish we can have M&S food in Australia, in Adelaide we don't even have DJ food :(

I love the BA team at BCN. Organised and efficient though I’ve never had a bus gate though. Free water is available on request from the cabin crew normally although now flying in covid buy on board is suspended in Euro Traveller and complimentary tea/coffee/water is served along with crisps/biscuits/ pretzels or similar.
Haha it's funny, I flew out from Barcelona twice this month, both were bus gates. One time, the plane was actually there at the gate we boarder, they somehow didn't use the jet bridge and made us took a bus trip that was only 10 seconds long. I didn't know about the free water, thanks for letting us know :)

The legendary windowless window seats. I rememeber my days i was working check in bad behave customers would get those seats 🤣. With the fog I get their decision to board as normal if it was a transatlantic like my time you would just be sitting at the gate for hours waiting to board.
hahaha what a legend you are😂 I liked BA's decision to let us on early. It's not fun just waiting at the gate for further announcements, rather sit onboard. I waited for ages to board for my Lufthansa flight to Toronto! thanks for watching!

Was it just the angle, but the seat pitch looks horrendous and when did LAN change its alliance with One world.
It’s one inch less than Qantas but feels the same because they don’t put magazines in the seat pocket 👍🏼 They’re currently not within any alliance. They quit oneworld earlier this year because Delta (skyteam) bought some stakes

yep haha. but they were quite annoying, standing at the aisle the whole time when everybody had to walk past 🤦🏻♂️ When I walked past them my nerve automatically said 'sorry' but really it should've been them who said it

I flew this route on BA a few years ago but in the evening, same aircraft type and there was absolutely no food available onboard whatsoever for purchase, I had a gin and tonic and one tiny packet of crisps for dinner, I was starving when I landed, I didn’t eat at the airport as I assumed I could buy something onboard, lesson learned
When they were still serving free snacks and drinks there was no menu, now it’s exclusively buy-on-board :)

thank you Ted! There was the Farmhouse Cheddar Cheese Ploughman's Sandwich, also 3.95 GBP, no ham, but tomato and lettuce. I don't like tomato so I went for the ham & cheese haha. The perfect sandwich for me is chicken with lettuce and cheese.
That was a ‘glamorous’ boarding welcome. Glad you were able to move to real window seat twice.. 6:40 👍. The lack of a basic complimentary refreshment is appalling. 19:44 🦘

I had a delay once when flying from SYD to MEL (QF427) due to fog. At least I didn't have a connecting flight that day..... (phew)

I'm pleased you found the BA crew friendly, but I don't like to see crew chewing like a cow! The same one chewing looked miserable as sin during the meal service.

So short flight (just only 2 hours), it is normal to use airbus A320 such a little aircraft.
You are not missing much by not being in Club Europe. Flown BA VIE-LHR and ZRH-LHR a few times, and unless you really want lounge access there's not much more to be gained in Club Europe. (not even the food is that great unless you are a fan of cold salads).

You were lucky you were allowed to move seats so you could get a window seat for take-off and landing. And it was a very nice take off video and very nice fly over London before landing. some great sights of London ;)
British Airways Budget airline = pay for food and drinks. Not a bad ham and cheese sandwich though! You would hope for good food if you paying extra for it.

Good to see you on a One World flight - I did not know BA and VA had an interline agreement! The last row is the safest!! The pilot was very informative and the seats / coathook looks ok , and Usb :) :) lovely views after takeoff :) the purchase food menu actually looked quite good. Shame you did not have wine :( a good review as always thanks cheers

Yep mood lighting, USB ports, leather seats, Wifi etc. 2020 things :)
imo every airline should atleast serve water even if your a low cost airline or a full service carrier, its not that expensive and imo BA should offer some small snacks such as crisps or cookies on these european flights but considering the price you got, its actually very cheap

That felt like a nice relaxed flight from one of my favourite destinations. Love Barcelona despite the need to be constantly on guard against thieves! Good to hear about the positive experience with BA. For many years I have avoided them at all costs because of experiences with rude and arrogant cabin staff.

I didn’t realise that BA is a budget airline. Pay up for all food and drink. How about the tubby air hostess when you boarded chewing like a cow in the paddock. I won’t be flying BA in the future. PS love your honest and reliable videos. 👍
for short haul flights it certainly is low cost unless you have a frequent flyer status. thanks very much for watching Bob!

BA Very cramped seating. TK Extremely comfortable and spacious in Economy
BA Crew often appear to get little job satisfaction. TK Crew appear happy in their work.
BA Look at the start of this video. No welcome. Stewardess eating. TK Usually a warm and friendly welcome.
