Watching this I realize how few cures wear actual gloves, especially in the first gen where it’s basically only Saki and Yuri’s right hand. I thought they were more common because the first seasons I watched happened to be the few with almost all cures having gloves lmao
Not even Saki. I don’t count fingerless gloves as gloves. And I love gloves. So when have that thought process, only about 31% of the Cures wear actual gloves.

Futari wa Precure explained the mystery of Magical Girl's uniform. They were created by solid materials such as iron, stones, etc...
it also explains why they’re so durable even after being slammed into buildings or the ground
So I guess the glowing parts are actually iron stones and metal
