Some of my favourite scenes are when Jack and Victor have the debates and play out hypothetical scenarios and get angry at each other- some of the lines and dialogue is pure comedy gold 😂😂
The only logical thing to do after this is finished is for both of use to watch (rab c Nesbit) another Scottish comedy, featuring a lot of these characters
Oh my god right, it's nice to see they're absorbing more about the culture & language so have a better understanding of more of the jokes. I mean just some of the ways they say things. Like when Viktor calls Jack a greedy bastard "Were it not for the fact that You are a greedy bastard". Just the way he warps his accents & puts power into the syllables, cracks me up. Aww & Navid, what a cracker of a character
Watching from the UK. Now that was a funny episode!! I was gonna log off when the credits rolled but glad i didn't, i burst out laughing like i was crazy as Ronnie. 😂😂😂
Please keep watching further episodes, Brad and Lucy. Many more good ones to come. I love your reaction to Still Game and that you are able to follow the "patter" most of the time. The various characters are brilliant with their own personalities and quirks. It's great that Lucy has Scottish ancestry too. Has she traced her roots? I'm happy to help if you wish.
Great to see you are finally watching this show. If you’re honest, you’re both beginning to like, dare I say love at times, the characters. The writing is brilliant, and it gets better and better. Don’t seem possible but it is. You’ll see guys. The comedy and comedy timing is unforgettable.
Been looking forward to to this ,although I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t distracted here n there,it’s got to be said smashing pair of thrupneys Lucy and you have a adequate smile as well Brad 😅
(1:21) The Bartender's name is 'Bobby', but Jack & Victor use the Scottish twang to turn it into 'Boaby' - which is Scots vernacular for 'dick' (as in male member) The store owner is 'Navid Harrid' ...so they can make a joke about his store being 'Harrids' - like Harrods, the World famous London department store.

I guess the Scottish phrase,
There's a moose loose aboot yer hoose,
Could be quite scary in Canada.

Happens all the time. Especially when my pants are off 🫣

Thrupneys = Threepenny Bit, pronounced Thrupney, which was a British three-penny coin with 12 sides. It’s rhyming slang for … Thrupney Bits = Tits.
This is the episode you got free with the NewsPaper one time as a promotional thing I mind cherishing it when I was wee 😆
'No Bastard Devil Dug'
Gairden is just how scottish people pronounce garden
I mean, hardly, that's Glesga, no need to misslead foreigners into thinking we all have 1 dialect
@esraeloh8681 not even everyone here in glasgow pronounce it like that 😂
12:46 im definitely going to use that "tension in the auus" rip on someone. Thanks.😊

No offence, Brad. Seriously punching above your weight there, Sir. 😁
This has probably already been answered but a 'ned' is a thug. The other bit if the sign was 'nae bastard devil dugs' No bastard devil dogs.
I’ve heard that Ned means “non-educated delinquent”. But that information could be apocryphal.
