Watch my bus journey from Mumbai to Goa by Sri Sai Atmaram Yellowz Volvo B11R AC sleeper bus. This bus was one of the most requested bus to try this route on and this bus didnt disappoint. My bus was a 9 pm bus from Sion and was scheduled to reach Panjim by 11:30 am. The bus arrived on time for pickup and we were late by only 15 mins at Panjim. This is one of the top-rated buses on this route. Perhaps the best looking volvo. The bus crew were all professional and the conductor Amit bhai was very courteous with all the passengers. Ramesh bhai one of the drivers really drove well and we overtook quite a few buses including Kadamba Volvo, Paulo Volvo & many others which had left much before us. There are actually two Volvo buses of Sri Sai Atmaram running daily. Mine was 9 pm and the second one is 9:30 pm bus.
This bus was initially a Semi sleeper bus which was modified to sleeper. The bus interiors are good as well. Back support to sit comfortably for long journeys. Blanket & pillow provided along with charging point. The AC was pretty cool as well. However, it is advisable for tall people to select the lower berth as they might not find the upper berth comfortable due to the height restrictions.
In terms of service, the bus and crew were professional. We halted twice for loo breaks, dinner & breakfast. I was lucky to eat with the crew. Both the bus drivers Digambar bhau & Ramesh bhai had great volvo driving experience.
If you want to cover the Gaganbawda Ghat during day time, I would advise you to take the night bus so you get an early morning view of the Ghat. The road condition is not good, especially after the monsoons.
All in all a good journey as the bus didnt disappoint in terms of speed, punctuality & service. I have travelled on this route quite a few times earlier. You can watch those videos here:

I traveled Mumbai to Goa not through this route by own car with family via Bangalore high way and from Belgaun change the route towards Goa .
Experienced and good roads through out journey and
Returned to Hyderabad via Raichur .

Nice coverage! The Ganganbawda ghat route looked quite interesting and rugged to drive through. Kaafi challenging rehta hoga. Is this the regular preferred route for Mumbai - Goa Buses? What alternative routes do they take?
And breakfast halt me "Paulo cheating kar raha hai, jaldi jaa raha hai" sounded like an annoyed school kid, bachpan me chillate the, koi aage nikal jaata toh "Hey, cheating kar raha hai, cheating, cheating" reminded me of that 🤣🤣
Gaganbawda is ideally the preferred route. The other one is via phonda ghat however gaganbawda helps to cater to people from konkan areas as well. And yes regards to Paulo cheating, I'm always a kid at Overtakings so tht was just instinctively 😁
@@Ash2travel via Belagavi, Chorla or via Sawantwadi, Amboli ghat are the best routes I feel..Gaganbawda ghat is longer route and more bad road conditions

videos are good. i have observed one thing. whenever people are making sleeper bus videos, they actually ignore to show the lower berth in the bus. is there any specific reason for that? is it because of the low gap between ground & berth? or the lower berth is most disliked by the travellers. I expect you to show the lower berth in upcoming videos
It's mostly bcoz of angles nothing else. Upper is easier to show.

Love the video! I am surprised how bad the roads are from Mumbai to Goa. You'd think those roads would be better considering the amount of traffic and how much of a lifeline it is.
