- Duncan Robinson (Miami Heat) is one of the best shooters in the NBA. He worked out with NBA trainer Dylan Kremer in this shooting workout in Miami. Duncan was one of the best shooters in the NBA last season and looks like he will do the same in the upcoming season. He rarely misses.

I noticed with Duncan that sometimes, off the catch & shoot, he will literally catch the ball in the middle of his shooting motion. Like he'll start shooting the ball before its in his hands; it's kinda nuts.
MAN i was just going to write that at 5:04 he's already in the shooting motion before even have the ball on his hand!

practice shooting off a bad pass and shooting without dipping....much respect. so many players want a perfect pass during a shooting drill which doesn't always happen in a real game scenario.

I made a workout based on Dunacn's, here it is if you want it:
Shooting Workout 1:
-Mikans x20 2 sets
-Reverse mikans x20 2 sets
-One hand form shooting (10 spots) around and back
-One step 2 form shots (10 spots) around and on the way back do a hop step
-Start at free throw line, hop 90 degrees and back, shot x7 each side
-Same thing 19ft out x5 each side
-5 free throws
-Start at free throw line, bump, one dribble, finger x4 each side
-Same thing from three but dribble before the bump, and use backboard x3 each side
-Spin ball from wing to corner, catch and shoot, with a 1 step 2 5 each corner
-Same thing but do an in and out with outside hand, then step to the side and shoot x5 each corner
-5 free throws
-From corner, hold ball at knee, spin ball to self (make it low) then catch and shoot x3 each corner
-Same thing, but make ball go to waist x3 each corner
-Start at corner, throw ball up, catch at head and shoot x3 each corner
-Start at wing, 1 dribble towards corner, take 2 steps into a shot x3 each corner
-Same thing but this time after a dribble, stop look at the basket, then dribble again into a 2 step shot x3 each corner
-5 free throws
-Start at corner, spin ball to wing, 1 step 2 into a shot x3 each
-Same thing with a hop x3 each
-Spin ball from corner to wing, catch with a hop, jab, go opposite 1 step 2 shot x2 each wing, each way
-Catch and shoot from 22 ft at wing x3 each wing
-Start 22 ft away at wing, throw ball up, catch at head and shoot x3 each wing
-10 free throws

Instead of 20 set Mikan drills, I do them straight for 30 seconds, if I miss one layup, the set starts over. With the rest of the drills as well I try to make all of them in a row with a miss starting over. Very challenging but gets you focus. I also need a rebounder as well

I hope Duncan and Tyler stays with the Heat this season and the next coz I've been hearing some chatter that if Beal or Giannis is available for a trade this year then they are willing to trade Duncan and Tyler. I think it's just too steep of a price to trade those two studs. They are splash brothers 2.0 imo and to give them two more years and they will be tearing up the NBA.
It's the intensity and attitude for me. When the trainer's talking, you can tell he's actually listening and internalizing. That's the mentality that'll take him to the next level

If I have learned anything from these videos, its that while seeing an unguarded player knockdown shot after shot is cool.....it does not translate well to in game play when being guarded or even being open, Danny Green never misses in an open gym too.
