Casual reminder that TFP!Megatron straight up said he only kept Starscream's hoe ass around because he loved seeing the man fuck up repeatedly over and over again.
I always loved how Shockwave, in almost all continuities, is this sadistic, heartless sociopathic mad scientist as he's practically the embodiment of the cold uncaring logical programming of any highly intelligent robot.
I like how shockwaves hospitality with ratchet coudl be interpreted two ways. One, he could be genuinely exited to have another scientific mind in the room and is excited to be making history (even if his assistant in said history is gonna get executed the send it’s done). Or the more likely reason. Shockwave knows the most logical thing to do is make ratchet feel comfortable and that his work is being appreciated, as people are far more likely to cooperate when they are in a good mood.
I think this is my favorite shockwave of this continuity just sounds so cold and menacing and also I like the he has a bulky physique, but also he is really intelligent. Every time you see a character who has a bulky physique and they’re usually portrayed as dumb or only knowledgeable when it comes building muscle

In Dark of the Moon, he brought the giant worms that attacked Chicago, in Animated he spent years undercover on Cybertron as a double agent for the cons and played everyone for fools, and in Prime he brought the Predacon, the ultimate autobot hunter. Shockwave is a game changer in the world of Transformers
Yeah but the continuity between Prime and the Cybertron games is kinda screwy since both were kinda doing their own thing and Hasbro just lumped them into the same continuity
