Saying Goodbye to Cartoon Network Studios

- The Cartoon Network letters have been removed from the Cartoon Network Studios headquarters, finalizing the building's fate. It's a sad day for Cartoon Network as workers have merged with Warner Bros Animation, which means we have to say goodbye to the CNS we've fallen in love with for so many years. What comes next from the Cartoon Network brand?

Unfortunately, all good things have to come to an end

Thanks to people like Craig McCracken and Genndy Tartakovsky for their works on those studios. They are part of Cartoon Network. They are part of its legacy. They were part of those studios.
They sure created great shows with happy memories

It’s sad to see😢,I’m in my mid fifties now and when my 4 kids were all younger ( now early thirties to early twenties I was financially stable enough to take of from work every July and August while they were out of school and would take them to every museum and cultural center I could find, but we still spent many an afternoon at home watching Cartoon Network with samurai jack being a family favorite 😢
It's sad to see such a major part of Cartoon Network history, and our childhoods, gone forever. But at least the brand and the incredible shows created here will live on forever. RIP CN Studios.
RIP to a legend.
Why are you saying R.I.P. where CN is just moving to a new building which is right next to Warner Bros. Animation??
I know right.
@@Sean-132 because many people have grown up of cartoons network for they childhood. and now Warner bros discovery’s have to pay they debt by removing entire building and force all the employees to move in the new building with it next in few road ahead.
@@spear1504 well they already planned and announced it in 2019 to move a brand-new building, that was like 3 years later after the WBD merger
Rest in peace cartoon network studios. Thanks for the memories
I agree 😔

@@christoferrrrr your not special bluddy
Let us have a moment of silence for the studio that made up a good part of our childhood.

RIP! CN will never be the same without this building. It's heartbreaking. The nostalgia and the memories will live on.
Why are you saying R.I.P. where CN is just moving to a new building which is right next to Warner Bros. Animation??
So weird and painful to say goodbye to an iconic piece of history
@@christoferrrrr Tell me you don't care about animation without saying such.

Old school cartoon network will always be better
CN was one of my favorite channels and studios, even to this day. When I saw the title, I was in tears. So many memories are now gone, but they will still be remembered. RIP CARTOON NETWORK. ❤
Amen.
Good luck to Cartoon Network Studios. Because it was one of the best animation studios ever to exist. It produced some of the best cartoons they aired on their network!
Before you go and scream your lungs out at Discovery and Zaslav, I just wanna make things clear that this whole plan to shut down the CNS and WBA buildings came WAY before the WBD merger.
Back when WB was merged with AT&T, the old CEO Jason Kilar was the one who originally planned to merge production crews behind CNS and WBA together.
And since we're at a time where CN is constantly getting chopped off one limb after another, you'd bet the timing of the building being shut down and sold off now definitely adds salt into the wound.
Farewell, Cartoon Network Studios. It just hurts me we could never meet in person, but some dreams don't come true.
Hopefully someday, this whole nightmare Discovery started will come to a satisfying end, and Cartoon Network can finally get back on it's feet like Micheal originally intended.
People mainly see this as a bad thing because of two reasons.
1. The closing of the studio means the possibility of CN (the channel) going off the air for good, someday. Due to the lack of new shows and the current roster being sorely limited, one can't blame people for this thought.
2. While Cartoon Network programming will officially be working with Warner-Discovery, it's abundantly clear that Zaszlav and Co. have no faith on new projects; preferring to mainly stick with reboots.
With all this in mind, one can't help but understand the fear and disdain
@@SilverScribe85 I completely get where you're coming from. CN's fate gets foggier each month.
I was gonna squeeze my eyes out
*insult to injury.*
@@ZeepTheWockyFuck 2023!
Fly high, CNS. You shaped more childhoods beyond count
Nickelodeon and Disney Channel had cool shows too. But CN's shows were more iconic.
The Warner Bros. Discovery merger really screwed over Cartoon Network and everyone who worked in that studio. I hope that things turn around for the better for CN.
It's also screwed over themselves, since the movies they've released have barely broke bank
@@SilverScribe85It literally cost the company BILLIONS of dollars. Ever wonder why their stock prices are lower than Disney and Netflix’s?
It was a decision made by the old management of WB back when they were known as WarnerMedia
@@Sean-132Yes. Everybody is blaming Zaslav all of a sudden.
@@joshuamartinez1771 Yeah cause he bloody deserves all the blame
Thanks for all the memories, guys. Future generations won't be able to experience any of their new wacky and hilarious shows.

Well said 😢
A Studio is just a building, it's the people who worked in the studio that made it so great, and as long as they live, we can still get many great bits of entertainment from them.
Goodbye Cartoon Network Studios... We'll all remember the shows we all grew up on the best place for cartoons... 😢

Cartoon Network will always be one of the biggest parts of my life no matter what. This is just heartbreaking to see the building where so many memories were made in such disrepair.

It makes me sad that some of the best shows were made here, and that makes me sad that it’s now gone.
Man, the first cartoon I watched, Ed, Edd, n Eddy will remain a special part of my childhood, so will Cartoon Network for bringing such great shows in the early to mid 2000s when my folks still had it.
I like to see Cartoon Network revive the DC Comics cartoons, as they never give them more support like Justice League, Young Justice, Beware the Batman, and more, than just the home of Teen Titans.
R.I.P. Cartoon Network Studios. We all miss you. 😢

The Cartoon Network Studios building would have never been defunct if AT&T didn’t had WarnerMedia merge with Discovery. Then the building itself would have still existed in the rest of the 21st century.
