I don’t have memories of starting kindergarten, or really of that first school year, but clearly something went well because I loved school from then on! And my teacher was incredible. I still go visit her often and love her with my whole heart. I’ve been graduated from college for a little over a year now and still haven’t adjusted! Cherish these school memories, and I hope Lucy does, too!

Along the way please! I’m a first grade teacher and I’m so happy that you are teaching Lucy that some people look different but that we can still be kind and be their friend. The best thing is when I see students being inclusive and kind to each other.

I started following you both around the time that Hailey was pregnant with Lucy I reckon? Or just born? And it’s crazy that this little girl who we watched grow up, travel the world and learn how to walk and talk is now starting kindergarten! OMgosh I laughed so hard when sweet Lucy said "Hi my name is Lucy, what's your name?" to Greta and then Greta just turned away, my toddler would totally do the same thing. I believe Lucy will thrive so well in this world, she's totally going to be the change she wishes to see in this world.

It's so cool that your kids can still travel! In my country homeschooling or traveling during school is not allowed. School kids aren't even allowed to have vaccation 1 or 2 days earlier.
I am going to be a teacher in elementary school in Germany when I will finish Uni next year. The part where Lucy says that she is most excited about meeting her teacher made me cry!! All the best for you guys!
