I made a what if mini for this scenario as a short before, but came to the realization that this could actually make for a good full-length scenario. A few months back, this also won one of the polls! This story follows a scenario where Bardock turns Super Saiyan against Frieza, putting up a good fight but ultimately losing. While it may seem like this would change nothing, Frieza has a much different mindset here after getting confirmation of the Super Saiyan's existence. Let's discuss what would change!

We could really have Turles show up here. Not necessarily as a full on good guy but as someone who understands the threat Frieza poses and with his scouters he could've heard everything going down since vegeta was killed and has been gathering Fruits discreetly away from frieza's territory.

I know Goku has no intentions on reviving the Saiyans but I would honestly love a young Raditz being revived and trained alongside Gohan since he didn't really have a chance at a life.
It's interesting that Bardock's wish didn't save him from Frieza.
I bet that's an oversight might be retconed or atleast recognized on a future part now that you've mentioned it.
@carsonweeks5935 I hope so. He can say that Goku choosing to revive Raditz was a delayed effect of that wish.

Yeah I don’t know how old Raditz was when planet Vegeta was destroyed but it’ll be funny to have an uncle that is probably around gohan’s age

This story has a lot of potential, I really like that it completely departs from the beaten path and I look forward to hearing more.
Since Vegeta already died and he probably went to the soul cleansing machine since he was pure evil, wouldn't it be cool to see Vegeta get reincarnated on earth to become Goku's rival since they've pretty much been like predestined to be rivals?
Honestly i feel as though Broly would come back to bite Freeza, mainly because he can't detect power levels and Broly is known to have insane potential. Honestly Freeza may only last for another 2 parts or so or until he finds Earth.
Freeza gonna press the Paragus button and he ain't gonna like what happens when he does XD

What if Cell has an empire? Like he's created his own new race to a different planet before he gets to face the Z fighters. Imagine the Frieza in him being dominant.
I love that you had Goku meeting Bardock and telling him about Super Sayian and Frizea now that Goku knows about Frizea he going to train and prepare early just in case Frizea shows up. In way Frizea is slowly sealing his fate while being extra cautious here.
I do wonder if your going to include Turles as one of the last remaining Sayians even though he not a good guy even he would agree that Frizea is much bigger threat and would team up with Goku.

Goku finds about his past because he dropped the senzu bean off of Snake Way. Could’ve been great filler in the Original

Considering how high Bardock's power level was, his potential should be great too. If he trained Gohan and made sure he didn't slack off, it'd be pretty fun. Especially some family bonding aha.

And if like salad said in the ending of the what if, the time patrol shows up here it would still be an interesting meetup between a bardock who raised kakkarot and a bardock who is with Goku
This is definitely the most interesting version of this concept I've seen
I feel like we might see the androids before goku fights frieza. Could be interesting.

Nice Goku meets Bardock, learns about the Saiyans from him, and knows about SSJ as his next goal of power now. 🙂 The threat of Frieza now know I'm hoping this means Goku let Kami know about this, which leads to the Humans Z-Fighters, Piccolo, and Gohan to train under Kami for this new possible threat. 👍 Here is hoping Broly will help the Z-Fighters because they will need it against Frieza. 😬 Anyways another really good part, and looking forward to the next part soon.
For Raditz since he died as a child does that mean after all this time in hell he's still a child or he actually physically grew

I don't know where to suggest new video ideas so I'm just going to suggest that here but I think you should do a remake of what if Gohan and Goten we're twins

why was this video uploaded 15 minutes early, really, well anyway, at least Goku is at King Kai's now and getting to train, maybe he'll figure out super saiyan eventually, but King Kai better keep an eye out for Frieza, he'll find earth soon enough and pray the earthlings can prepare, also what if the z fighters shared all their techniques.
Maybe in this king Kai will teach Goku the Yardrat techniques or at least talk about the supreme Kai’s, that were a legend to the Kai’s.

Frieza is in for a nasty surprise if he kills Paragus first. Also hopefully Goku can manage to achieve Super Saiyan before Frieza shows up, or at least get close enough for a Namek and Krillin adjacent situation to happen.

I’m hoping Goku does revive the saiyans and just show that he’s much stronger than all of them meaning that they can’t go back to just genocide.
Also, you could make Turles show up and even make sense that freeza’s army finding Broly as they are actively looking for Saiyans.
Broly should still be massively strong in this saga, even if freeza tries something Broly would be strong enough to defend himself.
Goku being the “only” person left in his race makes this story more interesting

in one of the future parts you should make goku wish for his family to be brought back to life from shenron, he most likely would be able to because 1 he can bring back more than one person and he has been shown to be generous with his wishes so he would probably just revive them Infront of goku not on planet vegeta, he would have to get kami to upgrade the dragon balls first and it could be possible. good story so far

guys i know this has nothing to do with the current what if but the goku black saga should have never been a thing beause if this is the same trunks ffrom the cell saga then picclo died and the dragon balls dont exist and goku died of a natural cause so even if the dragon balls were a thing goku could not have been brought back to life so how did zamasu get goku's body if goku is dead goku black should have a halo and how did goku work at the farm if he was dead is the black timeline a different timeline?

I can see Frieza being dead in the next part i can't see how he's gonna deal with Broly he has anger problems
Well, considering that Goku has a lot more time to train with King Kai...Who knows, he might just be able to not only reach, but master Super Saiyan by the time Frieza finds his way to Earth. That being said, it won't stop a certain doctor, or the future bug man from coming after him. Although...since Goku never went to Namek or Yardrat here...that would mean that regardless of power, unless King Kai magically introduces him to some dead yardie, probably no instant transmission. At least, not during the Cell or Freiza sagas. As for Buu...well no Vegeta means no Majin Vegeta...but what about Piccolo? He hasn't had that year to train and bond with Gohan here.
What if Goku got Super Saiyan Blue Evolution

Not watching until the full story is out, but I believe nothing would change from cannon, friza at 100% is more then enough to beat ssBardock, i say this because goku trained in 100x gravity before ssj so he's stronger, then everything else will continue as normal, the only possible change I could see happening is friza being far strong than in cannon since he had to fight more which could be enough to beat goku.
Wait, Goku knows that he hit his head as a child, though. He should know why he doesn’t remember anything.
