Mohamud Ahmed
is an Ethiopian singer of Gurage ancestry. He gained great popularity in Ethiopia in the 1970s and among the Ethiopian diaspora in the 1980s, before rising to international fame with African music fans in Europe and the Americas.
He is know as one of the best and father of modern Ethiopian artist, he is known with his dedication to bringing about soft Ethiopian music in the industry in particular with "Tizita" type of presentation to his audience. he deserves more appreciation. His long years of professionalist brought about recognition in world-class TVs like BBC and many countries Ethiopian funs.
