    I really can't stand the obsessive need to show how firearms are in an unloaded state on videos.

    What model flashlight was in your front pocket?

    • @gigiplusthebeard
      @gigiplusthebeard  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It’s a Streamlight Protac. Around $30, good lights and I don’t cry if I loose it

      @@gigiplusthebeard I appreciate the quick response!
      A dependable, small flashlight is surprisingly difficult to find among the vast amounts of inferior products on the market.
      Great review, your video is appreciated.

    Is that the turbulence (blue hue) or python (earth brown)?

    Your clips that hold the strap to the bag wont "drop in the weeds" if you turn then over ;) That's the way I positioned mine.

      That probably would work if I could pay attention. They are still very hard to see. Thanks for the tip.

    I think the gun was intended to go in the Velcro pocket, so you can rip it and draw if needed while wearing and not have to unzip.. Nice setup!

    • @gigiplusthebeard
      @gigiplusthebeard  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Tha could be right Chip but the Velcro is extremely strong! It would be helpful to have very patient assailants

      @@gigiplusthebeard I have a fanny pack that I call my Bob Stone (the rock in Central Intelligence) that I carry my Walther P22 in, spare mag, knife, light, and a box of 22's. I like that pack you have because I could set it up like a sling bag and use it for fly fishing. Keep fishing stuff and a small pistol.

    ASKED 6 PEOPLE" CAN YOU WEAR THIS TO THE FRONT " ALL 6 SAID DESIGN IS FOR BACK ONLY....THEN I SEE YOU WEAR TO THE FRONT ! WONDER IF YOU CAN DRIVE A CAR WITH THIS ON

    • @gigiplusthebeard
      @gigiplusthebeard  ปีที่แล้ว

      Dude NOBODY tells me how I wear my packs! I hate to go against the grain but I wear mine on the front often and while driving, no problem. I even double checked 5.11 website and it is still called a “ waist” pack. So you be you and don’t listen to the unimaginative! Thanks for watching!!

    Would a small HydroFlask fit in one of the pockets? It is 2 11/16" wide (the lid across) & 8 1/4" tall? Im looking to purchase but would like to be able to place water container inside. Thanks for any info! MD

    • @gigiplusthebeard
      @gigiplusthebeard  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Insomniac! Thanks for the view. I tried a water bottle that was just slightly taller than that, it was 2 3/4”x9”and it did not fit by the looks of that I would say that yours would not fit either. In my opinion, you would probably want to carry more water than this little pack would hold.

      @@gigiplusthebeard thank you for the follow up looking for some thing for an upcoming trip. I definitely would need to throw some water in there looks like a great pack.

    Howdy! Can you tell me where you purchased the buckle? You changed out both buckle ends from the original configuration? Thank you!

    • @gigiplusthebeard
      @gigiplusthebeard  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Felix! Honestly I cannot remember. I have a box of straps and buckles and backpack parts that I did into from time to time. I’m sure you could find some on Amazon though. I only changed the buckle on the right side because I’m right handed. You could certainly do both though

      @@gigiplusthebeard my buddy loves those. I'd love to carry one but I have a 70s security six that weighs a ton, so it lives in the safe. I carry lightweight Snubbies in .38 or .32. These days we carry keltecs or Berettas in .32 or .380! They just go everywhere. Btw, you were thinking security 9, the polymer version of the old security six.
