Chris, I admire the time, effort and attention to detail that you put into this...plus there’s a part 2 to come. In my head I think I could do this, but I know the first time a train traveled over a bridge that I made would take its plunge into some MTH pun themed buildings and start a fire in a Lionel ranch house that wasn’t equipped for fire lol 🥴 I would definitely purchase one of your pieces if you ever decided to start a train hobby scratch build hustle on the side. Its beautiful and I can’t wait to see your weathering techniques because I am new to this area of the hobby and I have watched you with regards to your scenery...I’ve always just ran trains with some buildings that I never hooked up for lights. I just did a video of my temporary layout and with some lighted buildings as I design my own garage layout in an 11x20 area. I am taking my time on my designs, doing some dioramas to work on my scenery skills and I do want to practice some scratch building for my own pride...at least one piece on my layout lol
Good job Chris. I'm the guy that built your bridge. The only suggestion I would make is using a pin nailer to secure the pieces with the wood glue. That way you can just tack and go to the next piece. Then let the glue dry overnight.
After watching your video I have made same bridge.
How much would it cost to build a Canadian Pacific a Canadian Pacific Middleton bridge is it?
N scale

Fantastic! I’ll be revisiting this one when I’m ready to build my bridges!
Good job Chris.

That looks like a very outstanding homemade bridge. I'm interested in making one like that.
Do you mean you use two glues together?superglue and wood glue?
Yes. The wood glue takes longer to dry, so the superglue holds the wood in place while the wood glue cures and provides the strength.
What glue did you use please
Wood glue - tightbond 3 with superglue to hold in place
Seller is megab46
ah thank you!
Thanks!
