#NoWomanNoCry #BobMarley #Live! #BobMarleyAndTheWailers - เพลง
It's been a long time but the story goes that the Wailers had become legendary in Jamaica and so a British record producer went to Jamaica to hear them and signed them immediately to a new Label, Island Records. He insisted that the band had to tour because their albums were selling around the world. They resisted, being Islanders all their life, also being fearful no one would know who they were on the other side of the world. Long story short, the band in the London show was so nervous beforehand that Bob Marley was physically sick backstage. Once onstage, the crowd of white British kids stood up the whole show and sang every word to every song. Marley was so moved that tears flowed and he sang and played each song like it was the first time they ever played them. No video of the concert but those who were there say it was undescribable and like a religious event.
The whole crowd singing gives me chills everytime
Those people do not understand how lucky they were. My favorite live performance of all time, hands down.
noone asked for ur opinion hands down
Easily one of the best live performances of ALL-TIME. Even the feedback from the microphone sounds absolutely perfect.
Right! That microphone feedback was timed perfectly when Marley sang "....good friends we've lost along the way" Even the equipment was Wailing.
This the finest version of this song with a legendary solo guitar by Al Anderson .Awesome!
Yeah man 'a LEGENDARY SOLO' .. Peace
no bullshit its the brilliant hammond organ that makes this the original version so great
I love this one cause the audience sings back I've been looking for it
Plus the rad solo
One of my all time favorite guitar solos! SOOOO epic
Summer of ‘83. Smoking weed and painting houses. Sweat our sacks off all day. Smoke some more weed by the water. Bon fire. Girlfriends. …. and always, this Live album. This song in particular always ricochets me back to this summer nights. I miss you, Zot. But, we had good times back then.
Best version of this song period
yeah i love the beginning
Absolutely😁 I can't find version on amazon music.😥
This is the one I was looking for. Blessings
Fr
oui vraiment
The hundreds who were there that night witnessed what was to become the greatest Marley live song ever.
I agree I love this particular live version
@@lizpaterson4190 the best version imo
one of the greatest live performances ever
There were a few thousand in the audience at McDonough Gym at Georgetown in D.C. I know because I was in the second row. That is me screaming in the middle of this gem.
I'm stunned there are only 3300 thumbs up. This performance should be recognised and preserved as one of the peaks of human artistic expression,
Best version ever
This song moves me to tears and swaying dance. I am so thankful in the core of my being. Let your love light shine! ❤
I can''t believe there was just a drummer, bassist, keyboard, percussor ,and a lead guitarist only made such iconic album that effectively launched Bob to the world scene. Kudos to al Anderson on lead guitar and the keyboardist who did a miracle on the number stir it up by playing the piano with an improvised pedal While doing the keyboard at the. sane time because Earl Wire Lindo didn't make it to London.
This was divine inspiration
Tyrone must be one reason I took up Hammond organ. Rest in Power🕯️
idk what it is about the way he hits "oh my little darling, don't shed no tears" at 5:55, but I can't stop replaying that part
The greatest live performance of any song by any artist ever! A stunningly emotional rendition that was never to be recreated. Bob's voice is extraordinarily powerful.and emotional. The audience seems to be one with The Wailers and sings the chorus with great emotion. Al Anderson's guitar solo is a simply superb.
The Wailers will b in Melbourne shortly. Saw Bob Marley & The Wailers here in the 1980's, magic. RIP Bob.❤😢
Died way too soon. So much lost. One of the greatest musicians ever.
Don't you mean to say,
"Murdered too soon??!"
Cause he definitely WAS murdered.
In fact, you can watch the death-bed confession, right here on TH-cam.
The dying man of excellent character, and unquestionable honestly took full responsibility for planting a bio- engineered, fast acting, cancer in Bob's body.
This murderer didn't work alone though............
he was accompanied
by his CIA co-workers throughout the entire grim deed.....
The fact that Bob was murdered shouldn't surprise anyone......except for:
1.those still firmly entrenched in the matrix.
2. any person believing the final conclusion of the Warren commission.
3. People who think that Sirhan Sirhan was NOT,
Mind--controlled.
4. Anyone STILL thinking that Epstein committed suicide.
Go ahead and research the subject, "CIA and culture creation," etc...
Those fuckers killed a bunch of our rock and roll stars,
And Hollywood actors too...
John Kennedy was spot on when he stated, "the CIA should be dismantled and broken into a million pieces.....
Of course, the CIA...
DID NOT take this very well!!!
so they shot a big- ol- hole through his done......

Truly eye opening the agent said he had no problem murdering Bob and 17 other people(I assume musicians and actors pretty much influencers.) he claimed he knew it was for the greater good and he was just being a patriot.
Indoctrination is 1 he'll of a thing, he did confess but waited till he was dying does that men's he felt bad or no?
why murder all these people they were really scared that their music would unite people I guess. A nail in a shoe brought down Bob. Do you know what the names of the other 17 were?
Why is the world like this my friend............
Why....
Bob Marley was THE greatest musician ever!

MY FAVORITE TRACK because of THIS BAR..
My feet is my ONLY carriage
And so I'VE GOT TO PUSH ON THROUGH
But while I'm GONE
Hearing how the crowd sing the chorus is simply beautiful. I couldn't find the video of this live version, so I can do nothing but wonder the beauty of that moment to enjoy the song even more.
Omg that’s what I was saying. There’s so much power in their voices. I love it 🥰
Love this comment!
Maybe its somewhere on here.
There’s a reason so many live versions of Bob’s’ songs are more popular than the studio recordings!!! Beautiful! Long live Bob 👑 🇯🇲
That organ is blazing.

As I'm typing this, it's 2023 of the Christian era. These days, people still listen to the music of people like Mozart and Beethoven. If people aren't listening to Bob a century from now, I feel very sorry for them.
After seeing the movie, I have a new appreciation for this song and how it came about, from the movie it was written for Rita
We recently lost Family Man too y’all, been goin on a Wailers binge and this just hits a little different now.
RIP Bob, Fam, and Carly
AMAZING version of the song...BUT who came here for the guitar solo?? :P
the only artist in the history of music who sounded even better live than in studio.
Just like the shitty musicians of todays, who need autotune and shit even in studio ,let alone live.
These were true artists, like Bob Marley!
And what a solo by Al Anderson, best guitarist in reggae!!
R.I.P BOB MARLEY LIKE TO GIVE SOME GOOD LOVE FOR HIM
Damn brother only 5 likes
why are you fishing for likes over a dead person you sad fuck

I remember being 13 years old listening to this album for the first time at like 2am and hearing the everything’s gonna be alright. Chills down the spine to this very day.
It is the organ work that gets me.
I always sing the mic feedback at 1:47 as part of the song. 😁
Why???

Tyrone Downie's Hammond organ playing is a benchmark that perfectly blends gospel, R&B and reggae. Simply marvelous. And for aspiring Hammond players, here's how it's done: th-cam.com/video/QfT7bdRkfJQ/w-d-xo.html
