Total respect to you. I have started hanging around the trading room whenever I can. I only started out on this path before Christmas and thought I'd be able to get going quickly. I soon realised that this wasn't going to happen and bumped into you at the same time. After following you I am 100% convinced I could make money at this game if I work my socks off doing it. Looking forward to the ride :-) Crazy, but before bumping into you I was psychologically stuck, depressed and anxious and it sucked big time, I now have the belief I can succeed. Hey Jarad, if you're doing 2R AON and you're trading larger time frames like 30min or 1 hour, and its 3:55 PM and you have not hit target, should you sell before the market closes or hold?
i know its different based on person, but what would be the best approach?

Money management - Van Thrap says if you break your plan its a mistake. If you don't have a plan, everything you do is a mistake.

Grate lecture, yep jarred, this is my exact issue. I have no words for the amount of frustration I am dealing with. Just seriously, u know, just stupid on my part. Can find some banger trades and I cut them short every time literally driving me nuts. Why is it so hard to follow the plan. Have journals screen shots that show I can find good trades just haven't been able to put it together it's infuriating after 5 years sure first 2 stupid years no journal no screenshots sh basically no data so from then on been tracking but issue is cutting winners to short
Great advice please read carefully.
Best advice. Log everything every trade winner and loser. Why the winners won and why the losers lose. Get the numbers and use those numbers as a lifeline in conviction to the system working. So whenever you want to pull early remember, this plan and setup hits 70% of the time. Or 30% of the time I pulled early she kept running. I use these data points aka numbers to hold me to my plan. When I get doubtful I remember my personal strategy numbers and that is at 66.2% accuracy lvl with 78% of those outweighing the losers by roughly 40-70%. Use basic math to give you peace when in doubt of your plan. The numbers never lie . Trust me!! This approach works wonders once you have the data.
(Key note)
The data will change maybe your accuracy goes a little higher one month and lower the next. So remember to keep updating those numbers.
They actually have apps that you can import your trade history and it gets the data points for in down to how long you hold your average trade. Please take heed and watch the profits stack up

the traders that make $168k as per Jared , I am assuming they are full time traders ? like 9 hours a day , all market days ? the trades , themselves , how long do they last each ? what about people who cannot trade like that ?
No in fact trading all day is a bad idea, once you are good enough you can scale up and make great amounts just doing it a couple hours a day
