The specific volume of the steam is very large than the water so it is quite expensive (or not possible) to pump the steam and it is send to the boiler. That's why we condence the steam and the water is pumped and it is send to the boiler.
A simple rankine cycle works between the boiler pressure of 28 bar and 0.06 bar the initial condition of steam is being dry saturated calculate 1 cycle effecieny 2 work ratio 3 specific steam consumption Pls help
Between 4 & 1 The blue line represents low pressure steam The orange line represents superheated steam which is at higher temperature & pressure This means there exists two constant pressures between 4 & 1?
Sir condenser q use karte hai directly steam ko boiler me q nhi send kar dete taki steam ko superheating karne me hi heat ka use ho. Plz sir tell in any video
Good question, when fluid exits from the turbine, it's pressure is too low I.e. condenser pressure. In boiler the enthalpy rise is Isobaric. Now, if the exit steam is directly fed to boiler the enthalpy rise will be at condenser pressure which is further unable to drive the turbine. Secondly no heat engine can work without heat rejection, Carnot Theorem.
In the boiler and the condenser, why work (the area under a constant pressure process in a PV diagram) is not involved in calculating the efficiency of the cycle?
Great explanation Sir i am very confused in ts hs pv diagram please make a separate video to understand these And please make it quickly because my exams have been started.
The pressure in the condensor and the boiler are different. So only with a pipeline you cannot send the water into the boiler. So the pump adds more pressure to the water from the condensor to reach to boiler. Just like the motor pump in water tanks
undoubtedly the best explanation of rankine cycle present on youtube! thank you!
exactly...... i was too thinking of it
This made my day...The best tutorial video on Rankine cycle. God bless you, sir.
This is very to understand good bless you sir
now i have understood the rankine cycle rather than speedy online class.Thank you sir!
Ranking cycle is the best explanation of the behavior sir
Very well explained Mandal jee.
Thank you for this sir. We'll understood
SUPERB EXPLANATION
EK BARE BHUJHE GELAM 👍
Thank you sir...it's a good and clear explanation about rankine cycle.
i didnt understand the heat diagram until now thank u so much
Rankine cycle made a lot easier than it is.The credit goes to you sir.
Best teacher
Nice explanation 👍👍👍👍
Thanks lot sir for such a great explanation. It really helped me a lot to understand the topic easily
Thanks sir , please make more video like this ,this is very easy to understand
Your videos are amazing! Please make more!
Excellent explanation.
Very clear explanation!
it is the best explanation of rankine cycle yet.....is there any video of yours on cannot vapour cycle sir???
After vapour coming from Turbine why we have to send vapour to condenser we can directly send to boiler we can save energy by not sending to condenser

Sir u r AWSOME..
Very good explained sir Tq...
Amazing explanation by you sir.
Loved ur dp!
very helpful, God bless you. thank you
Outstanding explanation
Thank u.go on doing these kind of videos. Really helpfull
bahut easly explain kr diye tnx.
Very nice excellent explanation given
Subscribe krne ko nahi bole islea kya
And thanks for teaching
Helped a lot.
Good explanation sir.
A simple rankine cycle works between the boiler pressure of 28 bar and 0.06 bar the initial condition of steam is being dry saturated calculate
1 cycle effecieny
2 work ratio
3 specific steam consumption
Pls help
Very useful
Great
Useful information thanks
sir why temperature raises while pump supplies condensed water to boiler? (3-4)
THNAKS SIR.NICE EXPLANATION
Thank you very much.
How the temperature is raised from 3 to 4 by feed pump ??
Beat 🤘👌👍
Thanks sooo much!!!!!
@3:18 sir how does pump increase the pressure of liquid water, liquids r incompressible
Between 4 & 1
The blue line represents low pressure steam
The orange line represents superheated steam which is at higher temperature & pressure
This means there exists two constant pressures between 4 & 1?
This is TS diagram, entire boiling is at constant pressure.
Keep making such videos sir.
Thanks
At what level or in what year in engineering do you learn this?
Thanks
Sir I learn to read T-S diagram from your video clearly but Want to know P-V diagram also please make video for it also.
Thank you
sir what about pv diagram?
Thoda slow sir

@@Dr.AmitMandal very true
Sir.If we get the work for turbine, how can we calculate the turbine power since Wt is in kJ/kg?
multiply with mass flow rate...
In the boiler and the condenser, why work (the area under a constant pressure process in a PV diagram) is not involved in calculating the efficiency of the cycle?
Enthalpy includes pressure and volume
Great explanation
Sir i am very confused in ts hs pv diagram please make a separate video to understand these
And please make it quickly because my exams have been started.
Hello sir...we can say that the heat supplied Q is latent heat. Please reply
Some heat is latent while some sensible, in the boiler....
@@Dr.AmitMandal thankyou sir
Why heat energy available in steam going to condenser is not converted to work ?
Low quality heat because of Low temperature.
Amit Mandal How can it as low quality it is ? It is huge compared to initial content of heat energy in the steam.
Sir hindi or english dono may explained kiya karno na thoda samjhne may asani hoti h
bhot accha video h sir
Is point 3 to point 4 isoentropic?
ya
Why is there no change in temperature because of the condensor? Because there is a Q, heat transfer.
Condenser releases latent heat which is always at constant temperature. Watch my ' TS diagram of water ' video.
Can u tell us what actually happens in pump
The pressure in the condensor and the boiler are different. So only with a pipeline you cannot send the water into the boiler. So the pump adds more pressure to the water from the condensor to reach to boiler. Just like the motor pump in water tanks
Suck and release water
Sir,plz provide captions also
Thank you soooooo muchhh
