First and foremost the entire bridge structure was supposed to be be concrete structure except for the vertical lift. And the vertical lift needed hydraulic elevation infrastructure. Instead they choose to go with steel cables. I don't understand why Indian Railways is messing up and missing on valid solution while even a simple engineer can figure it out. We are spending a lavish amount of money on this infrastructure anyway and this is a place where safety plays a major role more than anything else. So I feel it is highly doubtful that this infrastructure will be able to sustain the wrath of the sea. I honestly feel that this project was not taken seriously and it was foolish of RDSO to back off while it was supposed to be their engineering contribution. It's sad.

Use of low quality taps and other materials Recently i travelled in CSMT ASR express in 3e coach where i noticed that coach's inside body, that shiny insulation done on outer shell was visible from inside , also Ac cabin sliding door was being tied with a Rubber and whole system was not working. I also travelled in Daund Indore express where i noticed no flush in washroom. 3rd case i travelled many times in indore jabalpur express where last time i found no tap in the washroom . You may say it all happens because of lack of maintenence but why newly made suffering from this tough.. Quality of Lhb coaches were much better before Covid pandemic.

WRONG. First, New bridge was constructed by Spanish company not Indian... Now go 😭 that Spanish architecture doesn't work... If something goes slightly wrong then everything Bharat is wrong for according to some BharatBrodhis. Second, the bridge has not failed, it's simply follows different measurements to Indian railway Standards (RDSO) standards. Read the report abt the bridge and it will become very clear this is an inter-departmental issue with RDSO not liking the fact that it was kept out of original project rather than actual usability of bridge.

However, the design was provided by Spanish company Técnica y Proyectos S.A. which provided consultancy. This is information provided by Southern Railway. Further more the work was proof checked by experts from IIT Bombay and IIT Madras according to Southern railway. The issue here is between RDSO and Southern Railway. Southern Railway kept RDSO out of the project and they are not happy.
The bridge is not a failure. It cleared the test by the agencies concerned. Wishful thinking of the envying lot will not materialise
if it failed it can be rectified also.

However, the design was provided by Spanish company Técnica y Proyectos S.A. which provided consultancy. This is information provided by Southern Railway. Further more the work was proof checked by experts from IIT Bombay and IIT Madras according to Southern railway. The issue here is between RDSO and Southern Railway. Southern Railway kept RDSO out of the project and they are not happy.
