While it can play melodies and such, the instrument was made to be a base of an ensemble rather than a flute. You wouldn't hear a flute playing the base line in an ensemble with the exeption of it being in its own section. In this case, the bari should play at least, for the most part, some kind low end, or else you might as well call it an alto. All nightflash was trying to say was that he should try playing something with more base in it, however, this is just personal preference, not a fact. So I would kinda have to agree with him.
as a solo instrument, it's more proper to treat the baritone sax like a cello, cuz coincidentally they have the same low range, but a beautiful high range

Our school have a band too..when you enter grade 6 it’s not optional you have to play an instrument and then in grade 7 you get to pick what you want band or art if you pick band you’ll be in band until grade 8 and same goes with art..and every year we go to some places to play music!
This kid might be a good saxophone player but he's not a true musician. Musicality, tonal structures, and musical interpretation. Music is not for showoffs but for people who are willing to put in the time to make their music beautiful. This piece was given very specific dynamics given by the composer which were ignored. I'm not trying to say this kid is bad at playing Saxophone but being a musician and a lover of classical music. This just doesn't have the same musicality as the Flight of the Bumblebee and unless he gets his act together I don't think he the musicality to be a professional musician.
It's why Bumblebee has become such a meme with musicians-- because it's oversaturated because people think it's impressive because it's fast. It's lost all musical meaning because "haha it go fast" He has good tone on the Bari, but honestly this performance really is just lacking-- He could probably do much better and I dont think this glorified chromatic scale is an accurate portrayal of his talent.
I can play careless whisper and I just started playing the Alto sax in 6th grade careless whisper isn't hard if a beginner in 6th grade can do it every one eles can 😂

Not really. Many standard compositions write all the way up to high E or F. Sure the bari can play low, but it's not all that's capable of the horn.
