Today my Dad, Mike, is out with a couple of his friends to check out the RCSparks Studio Ranch. Its a blazing hot day.. so it's time to grab some boats.. and head down to the water. Todd, and Doug are our Captains for today.. taking out mine, and Everetts THRASHERS!

The Thrasher is a high performance RC jet boat that has been design to be the most rugged and reliable RC boat in the world. Thrasher introduces an entirely new level of versatility to its user, by dramatically increasing the options of where and how the RC boating experience can be enjoyed. Thrasher even brings RC boating off of the traditional 2D water plane and into 3 dimensions with its ability to bounce off objects in the water and leap into the air off natural and man made jumps. Simple battery based performance range - We have simplified the traditional performance upgrade path by providing a powerful bushless motor and electronic speed controller that can be run from 7.4 volts (2s) all the way up to 18.5 volts (5s) without changing anything on the stock Thrasher. No propeller or rudder to hang up on anything (or cut anything)
All moving parts are tucked up above the bottom plane of the hull
Thumb screw mounted hatch lid
Reliable and Versatile
Real time bilge vacuum to remove any water that finds its way in
Dynamic self righting - while in motion Thrasher is balanced to find right side up
Static self righting - if Thrasher comes to rest upside down, water will enter Thrasher's hull from the top. Once enough water has entered the hull, Thrasher will roll over allowing the pilot to navigate Thrasher back to shore to remove excess water
Waterproof and completely sealed Electronic Speed Controller (ESC)
Waterproof and completely sealed receiver (units that include controller)
Cool Running - dual path, high pressure (from the jet pump) cooling with a dedicated cooling line for the ESC and a dedicated cooling line for the brushless motor
Power management - Thrasher will drop off of plane (reduce speed dramatically) when the battery needs to be re-charged or changed.
This will occur with enough advanced warning to return your Thrasher safely to shore.

I really am enjoying all the old episodes popping up in my feed.
This shows there's not an "Age limit" to have fun with RCs! Props to the old guys
There is no age limit and there has never been one, but usually there is a gap between lets say 15-25 where its "lame" to play with RC's. Atleast thats how it is for me and my friends. Now I have passed that gap a few years ago and RC is my absolute favorite hobby.

Because of your videos, think about how many kids are outside playing with RC's instead of stuck inside playing video games or watching TV. Just awesome!
Since the beginning of RC ADVENTURES, almost 8 years ago.. I have been compelled to get away from my TV, computer, and so forth...just to get outside and to take a break. RC allows me to have fun with "REAL LiFE GAMiNG".. instead of living in a virtual world... Im a big advocate for kids, parents, family and friends - hanging out together having fun outside. @@TheRealRCSparks Calling me sir is like putting an elevator in a out house, don't belong, LoL. You really got my RC bug going again though, can't afford the models you got but I sure as hell can build my own, not to scale (I have bigger plans) but RC is RC, right? =) The models I have are overpowered 1/10 scale buggies, slightly overpowered 1/8 buggies and a few planes and helicopters. I need to build a hydraulic excavator and buy a couple of boats so I can enjoy some time with my father still, he's getting old so boats seem like a good idea. Love your channels big time, also your humor!

Excellent video Aaron. I always wished my Dad was into the hobby like I am. He has absolutely zero interest. i would suggest the traxxas m41 because it's extremely durable and you find parts at any self respecting hobby shop
M41 is less likely to flip in the water

It would be really nice to see you re build this boat. For maximum performance. Just a request from one of your subscribers. Side note, with jet thrust, vertical angle of jet nozzle can influence the ride. Trim it down and a smooth ride, tilt it up and higher boat lift/rough ride but increased accelerations

Hey mate, I was just wondering why you don't explore RC's that can fly such as Helicopters and even airplanes? I would love to see you do some cool vids on them! Also it would be awesome to see a big RC boat like ones that are 5-6 times bigger then these ones. Anyways just a few suggestions, keep up the brilliant vids man loving the work!!
I am usually a 1 man show.. which means I control cameras, and RC's.. Not very possible with flying RC's.. but, more then that.. I really think that Flite Test does a good job of air RC.. I keep to water and ground :) And BiGGER BOATS? We have done bigger boats ... not many... again there is only so much 1 man can do! But.. i do have a surprise coming for you in the coming weeks ;)
