Can you keep it connected to the tap all the time? Doesn't the top hose swivels or rotates?
you cant but i think if you drill a hole in the side of the bucket, zip tie the hose to the bucket with two smaller holes, and feed your hose through that it will work

What’s the brand of the tool you’re using ?
Its a cheap brand,but works well.
