Can the Hp Pavillion Ryzen 5 8gb Ram version be expanded to 16 gb Ram?
Yes there’s 2 slots for ram Hp only used 1 slot with 8gb So get another 8gb don’t quote me I believe mine was ddr4 So got an 8gb ddr4 slapped it in and now have 16gb ram

Definitely not, the 2018 MBP is more optimised and has more RAM, however, it's significantly more expensive as well
