Complete nonsense. Anyone who knows 2 bits about plastic would know that blow moulded water tanks are made from HDPE material which cannot last more than 2-3 under sun. I had mine cracked from the bottom in 2 years. Also upon further research i found out that blow moulded tanks were cheaper because they were lighter in weight (around 30%) and the the material is not evenly distributed throughout the wall of the tank. TH-camrs like him spread misinformation and make the customer spend their money on cheap, low quality products. I beg him to do proper research.
Secondly, layer does not matter, Wall Thickness matters the most. High wall thickness would ensure a longer life. Black colour to the contrary has a longer life span because it is a natural U.V reflector.
