How do you print the pieces? I have never used Rhino. Your video was my first introduction into this program. I would like to print out the pieces to be laser cut. How can I do this?

Very nice tutorial but you are missing some instructions when you are absolutely new to something you can get lost very easy. In the 13:03 you forgot to mention that you need to press shift idf you wanted more than one connection in one single point.

When I try to add the points to the "Line SDL" it only alows me to input one point. If I connect the other it simply removes the previous one connected - Meaning i have to split it up and do all double. Any idea how I may solve this?

Hold the shift key down when inputting the second point, that will allow you to input both!

How did you address the first and last pieces of your vertical slices being extruded beyond the original defining surface? Currently this end models total length has increased by the full thickness of your extrusion, though not a big deal in this particular design It would be nice to see how to address this for more critical applications.

Very nice Tutorial Dude! Enjoying your work! I am new to this and i have a question for you:
In 22:11 you are using the orient tool to stack the surfaces. I would want to do that too but my rail ist a (open) circle. So it's doing the orientation but the surfaces arent stacking above each other it just does the circle in Z direction. Could you help me with this?

Exceptional tutorial! When extruding the ends of the bench, (5:14) I don't see the small circle on the gumball. Could you tell me how to enable that? Thanks!

Petty sure it's a feature of Rhino 6 or 7, can't find any options for it on 7 and I think the video is made on 6. I don't think it was part of Rhino5 and older but correct me if I'm wrong.

@@strive4208 Thanks for the reply. I'm on 7 so that might be the reason if this video is made on 6.

@@jake1689 Ok so I see how it works, its on the gumball in the perspective view port after selecting a side of a solid or a surface. Example: go into perspective and draw solid box then ctrl shift a side on the box to select it, you will see a circle on the arrow corresponding to the direction you wish to drag the side in and it will go from the arrow color to black when mouse moves over it. Hover over it, hold left click and drag.

    • @ParametricHouse

ProjectForce is a component from Kangaroo1 plugin (you have to download the plugin to use that) but i said "projectAlong" which is already installed on your grasshopper

These modern design benches are for a few years already been installed in our malls. It was installed inside, so no gull or pigeon can shit on it, but still, those thin and deep walls of the vertical planes accumulate a lot of dirt, dust, and food remains that are almost impossible to clean off. So after a few years, you are literally sitting on a pile of shit. I vote for classic benches, that can be easily wiped clean or washed with a good-old rain.
