I had no expectations when I first watched this show, but it is so good, deep and emotional, and the chemistry between the Fab 5 is incredible. So happy they're getting more recognition now!
Aecio Cesar ok thanks, I wasn’t sure since sometimes the makeover has contestants that don’t have the most money and the fab five go to Target for the clothings instead of some bougie store
I bulked when one of the anchors said, “In this season, you’re making over the first WOMAN!” while footage of Skyler, a transgender man, was playing in the background. For a split second, I thought NBC was disregarding Skyler’s preferred pronoun. Not the best timing, Today Show.
*Watches the video. Reads a comment about kisses and hugs and handholding between the boys. Re-watches the entire video just to find it and fangirl over it :) ^^^ Applies to every single QE video
He's actually 175cm which is really a normal male height, but the other boys are taller and we're so used to tall celebs that he seems shorter than he is. I feel that he'd look fabulous in any height though ;)
it's so funny that I looked at the picture for this video and I immediately knew it was from today because I saw their outfits on their insta stories earlier😂😂
Don't be fatuous, Jeffrey ok thanks, I wasn’t sure since sometimes the makeover has contestants that don’t have the most money and the fab five go to Target for the clothings instead of some bougie store
I am so annoyed with Bobby Berk. I was so angry he didn’t want to walk into the church on the first episode of season 2. I also don’t see him doing much if any hands on work when he is designing. Only dictating.. but that’s only based off of what I see. Love Jonathan and the rest of the crew.
Gabe He didn’t walk into the church because he knew he would get too upset. He was not disrespectful to Tammy or any other christians on the show. They don’t show much of his design process just like you don’t see Tan ordering clothes or Antoni going grocery shopping. You see the results. In S2, we do see him with a nail gun and painting and he always explains his design choice so idk why you’re so pressed about it.
Matthew Sanchez I watched the episode so I know he didn’t want to walk in the church because he knew it’d upset him. I just think this show is all about pushing people out of their comfort zones. The least he could’ve done is gone out of his own comfort zone.
Gabe but there's a difference between pushing people out of their comfort zone in a way that they are willing to do in order to grow and reliving traumatic experiences. Bobby was clearly very traumatized by the homophobia that surrounded him for years during his childhood, and it's understandable that going into a church could bring back extremely harmful feelings and memories. You have to remember he spent his entire youth hating himself because of what his church taught him, and the negative impacts of that can last a lifetime. In the show they push people to motivate themselves and take risks, but they NEVER force people to do anything that brings back traumatic memories. The closest they get is when Skyler goes back to the registry office to get his gender marker changed, and that's because it's something he wants and needs to do, and even then Karamo is there to support him. They don't ever force anyone to do anything they genuinely don't want to do, especially something so personal, that affects literally no-one else. Bobby may be on TV, but he's still a human being who deserves respect, and he does make progress regarding Christianity while talking with Tammy. The idea that he is obligated to do something that would be harmful to him just because he's on TV is unfair and dehumanising.
Gabe the church has a history of persecuting and attacking gays, and the acceptance of some churches does not erase the years of hurt and isolation he felt as a result of organized religion. I don’t think you can judge him for it when you haven’t gone through the same thing
I love the fact that Jonathan is just in heels being fabulous
Super inspirational group of guys. Unmissable tv.
Aecio Cesar she's a lot

Aecio Cesar do you know who pays for the makeovers?
Blaze It I'm pretty sure it's Netflix itself, since they are the ones producing the show and getting profits from the show's recent popularity.
Aecio Cesar ok thanks, I wasn’t sure since sometimes the makeover has contestants that don’t have the most money and the fab five go to Target for the clothings instead of some bougie store
Jonathan is making Antoni and Bobby look smol
cant no one get Antoni's name right lol. Such a great show. Many more seasons!!! LETS GO

I was just gonna comment that too, who thought that was a good idea -_-
Skyler is a man, so it’d be insulting to him to call him a woman. Instead his the first trans man that they’ve done
They were talking about Mamma Tammye
Well, to be fair, Skylar does not want to be called anything related to the female gender
Cor Novum Oml SAME as a trans male myself I was about to flip some tables
they're all....so.....perfect... I feel so emotional I love them all so much they look amazing
Karamo's skin is like silk and he's so stylish all the time 😄

Tan is so short compared to the rest of the Fab Five, but he's still amazing no matter what.

Does anyone know who pays for the makeovers?
I'm guessing Netflix - it's a tentpole production for them with its popularity
Don't be fatuous, Jeffrey ok thanks, I wasn’t sure since sometimes the makeover has contestants that don’t have the most money and the fab five go to Target for the clothings instead of some bougie store
Karamo’s advice can be so cheesy sometimes
WHAT HAPPENED TO CARSON? HE USED TO BE HOT.
People age.
Still zaddy.
MEN USUALLY GET BETTER WITH AGE. AND THAT'S NOT AN EXCUSE. LOOK AT JOHN STAMOS. LOOK AT ROB LOWE. LOOK AT BRAD PITT.
2Bdiscovered He lost both his parents last year and he suffers from a serious anxiety disorder.
OK WELL THAT'S A GOOD EXCUSE. HE'S FORGIVEN.
