Short and most direct answer is it's simply TOO EXPENSIVE for the features it provides. Mas maraming ka kompetisyon na mas mura at mas maraming features. In short, HINDI SULIT SA PERANG PINAGHIRAPAN. Mga alta lang at fanboys ng Honda magbabayad sa ganyan kamahal na sasakyan.

Honda is honda, however, Price and fuel consumption are the two main reasons. At 2.2 Million pesos, you can buy a high end unit of other brands. Bigger in size, more fuel efficient, better specs, freebies, and probably maintenance cost in my opinion.

Sa ganoong price Hindi sulit ang crv lalo na sa probinsya masyadong maliit kulang sa lahat power ground clearance off road ability
May ginagamit akong honda crv 2008 model ngayong 2024 lang ako nagpalit ng mga shocks sobrang tibay talaga never akong nag over heat

Hindi lahat ng tao features ang hanap. Yung mga first timers siguro magkakotse gusto magandang display, dashboard, sunroof, power tailgate, etc. Pero kung may mga napaglumaan ka na na kotse alam mo na yung mga features 5 years ago iba sa features ngayon. Yung mga features ngayon malalaos din yan in 5 years. Pero yung pakiramdam na ganado ka magdrive sa sasakyan mo hindi malalaos kahit 10 years pa kung gusto mo talaga yung kotse. In short, yung bibili ng CRV ay yung may gusto talaga sa CRV.
Lahat nmn maganda pero kung tatag ang paguusapan ayon sa experience ko sa mga sasakyan da best para sakin si toyota

The car is really nice, advance tech pa siya. But the main problem is that the price is too much. Even though we are a fan and loyal Honda Cars family because of the reliability and services, We dont plan to buy one soon.
Main issue is
1. Too expensive , price is close to Outlander Phev - squeeze more and just get this one
2. Yaris Cross Hybrid is 1m lower and hybrid na.
3. Lots of thos chinese EV ( but I cant compare the reliabiliry to Honda )
4. If you buy a second hand crossover/ compact suv, the money saved can be used for buying gas + maintenance cost until a better priced car comes out na ev or hev tapos di mo pa naubus ung remaining money na magagastos mo sa Crv
5. Honda needs to up the choices, they plan to release hybrids na and they offered this expensive variant earlier than the other choices.
6. Honda hrv EV / eNy1 may come out and may be cheaper
7.Salary in the philippines may have gone up but it does not mean we can easily afford a car na close na to Lexus
8. Since price is close to lexus, go for lexus
CRV stands for Comfort Runabout Vehicle. Honda Cars Phil. started introduction here in 1998. I have driven and owned CRVs and al I can say is it's very reliable and durable if you take good care of it. I still have my CRV gen 1 2001 model AWD and it still runs like a clock. Nakakasabay pa din siya sa mga Fortuners and China made crossovers. Expect fuel efficiency at 5 to 6 kms/ltr in the city and 9-10 kms/ltr on the highway. Masarap siyang gamitin although hindi ko po masyado gusto yun 1.5 cc turbo. A relatively small engine equipped with a turbo and CVT transmission will wear out prematurely vs the old K-series, R-series and B20 engine configurations of earlier models .

Walang masyadong nabili ng 2024 Honda CR-V sa ngayon dahil tulad ko, hinihintay kong maging 2nd hand na lang bibilhin ko nyan after 5 years kasi sobrang mahal ng brand new.

Para sa akin, as a former Honda CRV owner, my main reason for not buying another Honda is my belief that Honda has no commitment to the Philippine market, as proven by their decision to shut down their assembly plant in the Philippines.

I have a 2004 Honda civic (keep ko lang sya Kasi dream car ko sya noon college pa ako kahit may daily drive SUV na ako na iba). Reason bakit hindi na ako kumuha ulit ng Honda cars :
1. Very expensive to maintain.
2. Mataas Ang fuel consumption compared to the other cars with the same variant.
3. Masyadong behind na Ang Hondas sa mga newcomers in terms of porma, gadgets, kahit sa dashboard nya pastik Ang dating samantala un iba NASA premium level na.
4. Accessibility ng mga spare parts at mahirap humanap ng mekaniko na hahawak pag Honda pinasok sa shops at sigurado mas mataas singil Sayo dahil nga Honda daw eh. E.g. civic headlights assembly ko? Maganda ang CRV based from my experience - talagang maganda ang performance. Kaso ang kailangan ko ay may 220V outlet; so no choice ako kundi everest ulit. Well walang mura na high end.

Price lang kasi tinitingnan ng mga 'yan. Kesyo mas maganda raw ang Terra, Fortuner, Everest, Montero, kung anu-ano pa, eh naka-sakay na ako sa mga 'yan, at ultimo sa Nissan Terra na considered na pinaka-comfortable sa class, mahilo-hilo pa ako sa sobrang lala ng body roll at tigas ng manibela. Walang-wala mga 'yon sa CR-V na super comfortable and smooth i-drive.
Nakakatawang mas malaki nga body ng mga PPV na yun pero mas malaki pa cargo at interior space ng mas maliit na CR-V, tapos mas maganda pa interior build and quality. Pag-sara ng pinto ng CR-V sobrang solid ng tunog, sa mga PPV parang likod ng L-300 ang tunog kapag sinasara eh 😂

Isang reason kaya pinalitan ko yung 2022 Honda crv touring ko ay masyadong mahina ang horsepower nya.Nakakabitin pag gusto mong mag change lane.at sobra din taas ang presto.Ipininalit ko ang Acura rdx 2021 na halos magkasing presyo lang pero 272 horsepower sya at mas maganda ang quality sa loob at labas ng sasakyan.

Possible reasons why there are few buyers: Expensive, gasoline engine, cvt tranny, small dimensions compared to other larger vehicles with much cheaper prices and they are diesels; no front sensors, no blind spot monitoring, no cross traffic alert for the VX.
The advantages for this car is performance and handling because it has very good suspension system(good for senior citizens) turbo-charged and an AWD compared to the Montero, Everest, Fortuner, Terra and Everest.
And this car is very fast and agile.

Honda iş powerful vehicle engine. Me and my husband we never change other brand. For my family old stepwagon AT of Honda we never encounter any issue for our old stepwagon family car for 14 yrs. The price is reasonable when you have it. Now we change another stepwagon hybrid . It’s more very safety and very economical of gas fuel.

Habang dumarami ang electrical devices sa sasakyan lalong humirap ang diagnostic nito ang can bus system ng mga modern car some system are dedicated and most are shared..na experience ko yan sa 3rd Gen Honda CRV ko...nagkaroon ako ng major problem nawawalan ng torque and power kapag na reach na nya yung operating temp hirap humatak, no mechanic have solve gusto overhaul may iba nagsabi tranny rebuild juice ko day...then pinag aralan ko ang car diagnostic..i've change some few parts like pcv valve and few sensors...yun ok na sya ulit very responsive and napaka fuel efficient...

Mas mura CRV sa Thailand dahil it was assembled there. Dyan tayo talo, sa importation cost, taxes, dealers and agents cost/ income. Kaya mahal sa pinas. Proud CRV owner here, I have the money to purchase but I feel it’s expensive. Di Pa hybrid yan. Yung hybrid is 2.5 to 2.6 M. Wake up HCPI. Sa Thailand halos lahat ng models are already hybrids except BRV and WRV. Ultimo City and it’s hatchback Meron na hybrid version. Meron na din sa Thailand. Honda e:Ny1 the full EV of HRV.😊

I agree. Everest, Fortuner, Montero and Terra are not the direct competitor of CRV. Ever since kahit nung early 2000’s pa iba na talaga ang classification ng CRV even it’s price is more pricey talaga because of it’s exclusivity. Ang direct competitor niya talaga ay Rav4, Outlander, Xtrail at Tucson. Pero may mga nadagdag na ngayon like CX-5, Rogue, Sportage ✌️

Until now you can see Honda cars from year 2000 and up at umaandar pa din sa kalsada at iba set-up pa ng mga accessories. I considered getting a diesel crv before I got montero sport, pero crossover lang ang crv medyo mliit compare sa typical midsize suv, pero sa looks in and out mgnda tlg xa, depende din tlg sa kng san ggmitin since 1.6L medyo bitin sa power compare sa montero at fortuner na pwd tlg pang harabas. Crv more on city driving xa applicable and if sana competitive ang price mas madming makakaafford.

Maganda din naman ang honda. Wala akong problema sa mga units nila pero yung casa nakakainis. Lalo na yung mga under ng AC motors. Pera2 na lang, walang matinong serbisyo.
If you are the type na long term car owner, di ka magkakamali sa CRV na ito. Subok na for 2 years sa US ang generation ng CRV na ito and its one of their best sellers. Iba naman kasi ang pricing and buying power sa US. Medyo napamahal ang price natin sa Pinas lalo na yung hybrid model pero if you have the means, go for it.
